That's not true... they don't ALWAYS give the Conn Smythe to a team that is on the winning team. The most recent one (in my memory) is J.S. Gigure of the Ducks when they played against Devils. The Devils won it in 6, but Gigure was the MVP (hands down) in those playoffs.

In my opinion, it shouldn't have been Crosby or Zetterberg. I would have given it to Fleury.  He really helped his team in the first few series and kept his team in the Finals as well.
