yeh loads of people know about Pennington! If anyone asks a local they will recommend it... and there are loads of secret spots better then Pennington on KI that no-one knows about.
been to this beach on what looked like an amazing day and noone was out! random question but when the camera swings round to the other headland at 0:25, infront of the headland i saw it breaking off a reef infront of a rock shelf, just wondoring if its ever been surfed?
@TheBoogKings depends which break you mean... the one right in front of the pointed head land breaks onto some huge rocks! "apparently" that point is a well known suicide point... so wouldn't recommend it....
YEP heaps of sharks dont go near the place increadibly DANGEROUS VERY DANGEROUS NO POINT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR IT..................ALso to the person who pput this video up! get this video off here no you idiot why dont you just publise this place to the world HEy heres a better idea why dont you just write book on it let every one know or just put it on a current affair the local surfers will love that D%*^ head
haha they have already done a 5 paged article on kangaroo island in one of the surfing life mags. so i dont think a tiny youtube video will make much difference
yeah penno's does closeout more often than not, so it's not too bad we thought haha. and that's not 1 foot...the video was taken about 600 meters back from the top of a cliff.
Kangaroo Island is a beautiful and fascinating place...from the Remarkable Rocks to the seal colonies to the Koala bears. Go surfing? Aside from the warning signs the gashes on the seals' backs were enough to keep me on shore. I'd feel about as nervous as a pickpocket in a nudist colony to paddle those waves.
@Chiangmai007 haha yeh it does get a bit daunting. My Uncle surfs a place over there (Secret Spot) where he jumps in off a cliff and has seen 'half seals' without heads... and a helicopter offered to pick him up thinking he was in trouble as that 'spot' is never surfed... :S gnarly!
perfect if you don't mind the great whites. there's a seal colony just around the point.
