Don't feel like an "old fart" yet, although I have been an AAC member since 1968. I recently went to the 'Gunks with an old climbing buddy, Richard Goldstone, returning to the place where we first cilmbed in 1964. He is still climbing there and elsewhere, at a high level, in his late 60s. Who would have thought that over 40 years after joining the AAC we would still be climbing.
