Hi I am building one currently and I was wondering this answer: I'm wondering how you keep the shaft from coming out of the square part of the engine, thanks!
My neighbor threw away one of these cause the batteries were shot. i was thinking of putting a chainsaw engine on it and making a clutch by using a belt system where a spring loaded tensioner pulley could be retracted by a brake handle/cable setup. thereby loosening the belt enough that it wouldn't grip the pulley. not really a clutch but a way to disengage the motor. see it all the time on riding mowers to disengage the blades. anybody ever seen or tried anything like this???
I just put a Mcculloch power mac 6 ,, 32cc 2.5 HP chainsaw on My mountain bike
it has a clutch but I need to make a roller it's going to be 3 inch or I could just
put a spindle where the clutches are but well I prefer to have the clutch for stopping so the engine stays running when I'm in town. Do you have any project still going on. It's fast but very loud engine too I give up on the
weed, eater scooter Echo weed, eater would do better because they have a clutch.
hey im trying to do the same thing here. i have the exact same e100. everything went to shit on it so i took all the electronics out and left the brakes in, even tho i need to replace the cheep ass pads as they have no rubber on them, just pure metal which ruined my front rim.
the only problem is that mine was belt driven and has one of those crappy solid poly/rubber/plastic/whatever the hell you call it, non inflatable rear wheels. i havnt bought anything yet so any help would be appreciated
I just put a weedeater engine on my izip 200 electric scooter I put the electric motor off of it on to my mountain bike got the weedeater engine off craiglist for $5 got it running but didn't have enough power the cylinder and piston were scratch so I mill the cylinder and fix the piston and only need to buy a new ring fl20 20cc engine but the scooter is light weight so that engine should work fine, .
@mrbobtyler dude you will be surprised at the power of that ting i had a 1.25 inch spindle and it still pulled me up huge hill and went uber fast, broke down constantly tho
