  • la donna e mobile

  • I like the 5:00 minutes song change...

  • Bill the Butcher is a complete badass, but I would have liked to see him actually duel Priest instead of just throw someone towards him and cheap stab him...

  • If I recall properly, I think Bill the Butcher admitted later in the movie that he considered himself a coward compared to Priest.

  • I don't think he actually refered to himself as a coward, but I know he did say the Priest was the only man he killed worth remembering. The Butcher had a lot of respect for the Priest.

  • i couldnt believe the number of traitors that were in this movie who turned on the irish by joining the dark side

  • wow, great music choices i give 5 stars for your timing definately. if only it was just smoother transitions at certain points between the songs but i still gave 5 stars becuase your choices really do rock !

  • go dead rabbits

    Its every good, my School band played it, i played the Tamboren c'; Its normal need in the end in the orginal Peace c';

    I think that is is a good clip also c';

  • some nice selections. sometimes a bit too frequent changes of music for my taste.

also, you know that "Bolero" is not a composer, right?

  • Only a retarded arse bandit would reply or respond in any way whatsoever to this comment. To even acknowledge my comment would make them a complete halftard faggot trying to not let the world see how queer and fucked up they are. To even see my comment as a challenge would be their own admittance of how much they like to get a brown bell-end. As for the rest of you, you're all just a bunch of morons.

  • i love this film...

  • nyc was disgusting in the 1800s

luckily now nyc is much better

  • Peter and the wolf

  • 6:41 CHECKMATE the butcher went straight for the king at that point. pretty brutal

  • It's called Toccata and Fugue in d minor, by J. S. Bach. The greatest composer of music who ever lived.

  • song : "tocata y fuga" by Bach

  • Its between the two gangs. the natives and the dead rabbits. The natives are made up of people born in america, the dead rabbits are made of up of Irish immigrants. Retard who uploaded this vid killed the scene with the shit music.

  • may be true, but you didn't need to be so mean about it...

  • Rome Total War LOL

  • daniel day lewis is a fuckin savage, lmao

  • whats the name of the song at 5:11?

  • Is the third part of "Rigoletto".

The song's name is "La donna è mobile",

Try to listen this singed by Pavarotti!

  • holy shitt!!

  • lol the music you used makes this entire scene look so silly.

    Damnit. The priest was right.

  • lol!

  • Daniel Day-Lewis is a quality bad ass mo fo. He is good in all films,

  • gotta love Daniel Day-Lewis (if that's how you spell his name) :D

  • I think you must have taken only the first melody, the Bach`s one. The others are good too, but so many "changes" while during the video could transform it in a joke, like "bassmanUSSR" said. Gangs of New York was made to look horrible, because is a violent movie. Whatever, it is a master piece of Martin Scorsese. In fact, the video is good, but no so much. P.S. Sorry for my english, my language is spanish, I`m so better on that.

  • a lovely chelsea smile at 6:17

  • xDDD hahaha 5:00 he´s killing people with a happy music xDD.......

  • he becomes a cop

  • a corrupted cop

  • A jewish cop ? :P

  • fucking dale....I should go to his house and rub my nuts on his drum set!

  • I love Hellcat Maggie! ^-^

  • "Shimmy She Wobble" was the piece that made this scene unique and scary.

  • Beautiful film work, but I agree. Othar Turner's "Shimmy She Wobble" was a key factor in making this fight scene memorale and scary. It looked like a driving force for the actos.

  • at 4:03 they look like da New York Cripps

  • First of all, that isn't Other Turner's "Shimmy", it's Revel's "Bolero", and as for the cops, it's the Five Points District in the 1800s, one of the most lawless regions in the city.

  • one questions where were the cops

  • sitting on the side lines making extra cash for not "interfering"

  • Either being paid off or in the battle with them...

  • you don't get what political machines are right?

  • That idea did not really exist back then, lol!

  • Hmmmmm, should have used the original music, Othar Turners shimmy is fantastic for the arming scene

  • damn music lol

  • go the dead rabbits

  • YES DI6 ON3 OF MY GR3AT3ST MOVI3S

  • was wondering if Orff's Carmina Burana would be there, yep!

  • what is really out of place is La donna è mobile at 4:58

  • in the beging at 4:05 whos is the composer who did that and the name of it thanx

  • Prokofiev - Romeo and Juliet

  • ent it "the apprentice" theme tune too? u know... with alan sugar

  • when it shows bills eye in the beging what composer is that and wghats the name of it i always wanted to know thanx

  • The scene where they're putting on their primitive armor and the scene of the tenement cells at 2:30 reminded me of scenes from "The Blood of Heroes."

  • Could you put that same scene up with the original audio? That would be great.

  • nice movie

  • what song is the one in the movie at this part? i cant find it anywhere.

  • felt very bugs-bunnyeque!

  • though granted, one of the best scenes of the movie, i thought I couldn't stand another video of this scene set to anything again....but toccata and fugue in the start...I was captivated (and laughing)...great job actually!
