  • Sounds good to me. No need to apologize on this one. I'm finally discovering the band from the book on the history of grunge.

  • Yeah! Sub Pop greats groups in the indie filtrations.

  • Thanks for posting these! This is the first live footage I have ever seen of Green River - what a treat!

  • @PKTrekGirl . . . my pleasure!

  • You idiot that is a shit excuse, we don't get many of those sub pop bands tour Australia much, seen a couple but green river never have made it here, would eat my left testicle to see em and maybe the toes of my right foot, deep fried

  • I am kicking myself right now because I changed my mind and didn't go to the SubPop 20 reunion. I am so pissed at myself. urgh. I didn't want to take the bus all the way from Seattle to Redmond.

  • ive had chances to see mudhoney more than once but i didnt know who they were till a few months ago(i bought a green river cd and upon looking them up for other albums found out that mark arm got back together with em(which is weird cuz hes still in mudhoney and like half of green river is in pearl jam). im glad they got together again cuz personally i dont like mudhoney all that much(cept superfuzz bigmuff is an amazing EP)

  • same man ill be at the one on the 23rd too. i just got my tickets...I also knows someone who knows Buzz's niece so MAYBE i will get to meet him....we'll see. but hey ill probably be the only african-american dude with dreads in the whole place, so look for me, ill be wearing a superfuzz bigmuff t-shirt.

  • I was so pissed that i had to miss this festival , i live in Chapel Hill, NC at the time and couldnt affored a plane or the off time from work. but i did end up getting to see Mudhoney live that summer, and the melvins too, both shows were mind-blowing. I even got to meet dale crover after the melvins gig and that was awesome.

now i live in olympia, and i am sure as hell going to the May Seattle gig with Green River and the Melvins. maybe ill even get to meet dale again?

  • you just fuckin lucky to have seen that !! Didn't even know they reformed for the 20th anniversary... thanks a lot !!

  • where did you hear this?

  • FUCK!!!!!!!!!!

  • That's one of my favorite Green River songs. Although it would be super sweet if they toured, I don't think they have it in them to do it.

  • They are doing a very mini tour. Will be playing Portland on 11-28-08 and Seattle on 11-29-08 if your in the area.

  • GO FLUID tHER BETER

  • that day was so awesome. comets on fire fucking blew my mind.

then green river! what more could you ask for.

  • will never forgive myself for missing this one.

    thank the price of oil

  • any chance of gettin the rest of the show up?

  • No, sorry, just recorded these four songs. I hope they release an official bootleg or DVD. They seemed to have an army filming their performance.

  • Comment removed

  • me too man ...me too

  • Please tour!

  • Green River, Fluid, Mudhoney and the Vaselines were definitely the highlights of this event. It was like somewhere back in the '80s since I've seen Green River. I was working at Tower Records in Seattle with the Drummer for Green River and the Drummer for Malfunkshun. The scene was so much more fun before it got big. Oh, and never forget....Seattle saved rock!!!

  • FUCK YEAH!

  • AWESOME!

  • Thanks so much for taking video. Would have given my wisdom teeth to be there. Brilliant!

  • do you have a video of them playing swallow my pride?

  • No, sorry, just recorded four songs. I hope they release an official bootleg or DVD. They seemed to have an army filming their performance.
