AlainNaigeon, you are right. But there are plenty of 'dedications' to Josquin's original chanson. The whole mass is based upon his music, using his phrases and cadences... Its an entire tribute from Morales to the emperor Charles V, who was a fanatic of Josquin's music. That's the reason by which the 'Mille Regretz' was called 'the emperor's song'.

Well, I was half wrong, the cheap version is an mp3 download - the CD isn't cheap at all :-(
