It's been a guilty pleasure of mine watching the shows sometimes (they are funny to watch), and decided to make some sims named after them. Though I haven't been playing Sims 2 lately (currently I am playing through Metroid Prime 2, Red Dead Redemption and Borderlands)

you know, one funny thing worth pointing out about ghost sims is that in Sims 2 for PS2, you can actually control the ghosts when your sim(s) die, which means that you can use the ghost to spook people, posess people, etc.

If you need help getting a ghost in Sims 2, all you have to do is to kill off a sim (that you don't care for), don't remove the grave or urn he/she leaves behind. If you do that right, then on some nights (this event seems to happen at random), the ghost of the sim you killed off should haunt your sim home. I am not sure which version you have, but at least in the version I have ghost sims do exist.

Hi um I would liek to ask how many ghosts come out at a time because i have 12 ghosts on my lot and only 3 come out every night. Is that the maximum of how many come out at a time?

well, if some sims have just died, it can take a while before they come out. but i have 5 ghosts on my lot and some nights they come out.

I don't know about the wii (perhaps someone with a wii would know more than I do), but in the PS2 version, the developers made it so that your sims can never die (even when they do "die", they pass out and someone revives them), and so I don't think that ghosts exist in sims 2 pets (at least for PS2), though your sim(s) can get abducted by aliens in that game).

actually, I did get Sims 2 Pets for PSP, but unfortunately, my PSP broke around that time when I tried loading the update for it. When I get the time and money to do so, I will see about either getting the system repaired or replaced.

If your pet dies in Sims 2 Pets, it is possible for you to have a ghost pet. But it only works with dogs and cats. It doesn't work with hamsters or birds(but that would be cool!)

ryansjones my ghosts don't get colours. and they only steal food if they starve to death. I drown a lot of my sims and they R such a problem U can change their death by using a cheat.

How do you drown a Sim? I'm afraid that if I burn it, it'll light things on fire as it walks past... XD I just want a quick way to kill it so I can fulfill one of my Sim's aspirations...

Perhaps the best way to drown a sim would be to get him/her to enter a pool, and take away the ladder(s) that are in the pool. When the sim(s) get tired, they will not be able to get out, and will drown before long. They might also be able to drown if you get them to enter a pool (especially with free will off) when tired

well in my pc (only) i had a family that names the family dark! and then they mest up like the suffer all the time so i quit and kill them all,... so first i killed a granny too spooky then the father (didn't create a mother) then the lil boy and then a girl teen and the spooky house just don't have more sims in that house and never seen a ghost! and they died in the pool all together

There could be a few possible reasons why the ghost sims are not appearing:

1) You got rid of the urns/tombstones they left behind

2) Game is glitched (the event should happen on random on various sim nights under normal circumstances)

3) You tampered with the ghosts (such as deleteing him/her with the MoveObjects on cheat)

4) It is a random event, and so there are nights taht they should appear and other nights they don't

one thing to point out when it comes to the randomness or the appearance of ghost sims, the appearance rate can vary from game to game and play to play. On some plays, Butthead's ghost would appear every night or two, and other plays, it would be sim days or weeks between appearances. Also, I have found out that sometimes if you move your sims out and back into that haunted house, it may boost his/her appearance rate a bit

in sims ps2 game, they come back as ghosts and randomly puke on my live sims. one time i killed every sim in a fire and the neighbors came, so they scared them.

they usually get more aggressive and do things that they may not normally do, such as creating messes in the bathtub, stealing food, trying harder to scare the living sims, and others. It hasn't happened to me yet, so I am not fully sure how they differ from regular ghost sims, but that is my guess

In one of my houses I killed 5 sims by locking them in a room and starving them I still had three sims that lived in the house and they where haunted by the 5 ghosts they usually come out and 12:06 or later or exacly.

I would not be too sure about doubting the ghost sim phenomenon in Sims 2 (or just about any Sims game for that matter). If you are having problems getting ghost sims, see the tutorial I recently added on the description.

of course, a few pointers I should mention before you try the trick:

1. it is a random event (sometimes the ghost appears and sometimes it doesn't_

2. getting rid of the tombstone/urn will get rid of the ghost permanently

3. tampering with the ghost can drastically reduce his/her appearence rate

considering that you haven't replied to my responses yet, I will assume that you have found out the truth about ghost sims in Sims 2 (and many other games in the Sims series). Although the existence of ghosts are debatable in real life, many games do have their paranormal properties that are no-brainers to figure out, including ghost sims/alien abductions in the Sims series, the boos in Super Mario, the ghosts and creatures in the Caslevania Series, aliens in Contra and Halo, etc

I've seen worse. Have you ever played games in the Castlevania series (especially the newer ones, such as Legacy of Darkness or Curse of Darkness)? You play as a hero who has to kill hordes or ghosts, monsters, demons, etc. In fact, in many (not all of course) Castlevania games, the main villians inlude Death (a grim reaper) and even Count Dracula himself (who is the "dark lord" in those games and often reverts to demon form after getting defeated the first time in a boss fight with him)

One cool way I found about in killing off sims is that if you have debug mode on (though I forgot how to get it), but I think if you hold shift and click on one of your sims, you can get this tomb stone, and choose how your sim dies. If I am able to play the computer game version during the summer, maybe I can post a video demonstrating that cheat

of course, if you are having trouble getting your ghost sim(s) to appear, you just have to be patient because there are some sim nights where he/she appears and other nights where he/she does not. Also, if you delete the tombstone/urn or tamper with the ghost (such as moving or deleting him/her with the MoveObjects cheat), it may stop or drastically reduce his/her appearence rate)

Perhaps the best place to look for cheats is at the "gamewinners" website. From the website, go to the cheat portal, cheats for PC games, and look up Sims 2 for the PC, that might help, as that is where I got most of my cheats from. However, it has been a while since I've played the PC version last due to college, and so I can't remember exactly how to pull it off

Good quality videos usually don't have sound. I mean, the sound is turned off when you're filming. You can get sound in editing.
