  • dude you need more shoulder strength . looks like your mic hand is hurtin at 425. j/k good interview man

  • @corneliushornswallow Ha, yeah that's true. Hopefully I can correct that for my 2012 interview with Layne. Maybe if I bump into him at the Arnold I can ask him a few questions about how to do that.

  • YES. Unflavored BCAAs or the horse-size-like pulls is no bueno...

  • Layne rockin' those jorts lol

  • Awesome stuff again this year Matt

  • Glad to see this interview!

  • @ThompsonsTraining Thank you very much, good sir. Layne always makes for a great interview.

  • He doesn't look as big as he used to be; did he retire?

  • @TraumaER Layne is around 196 in contest condition and was approximately 20 pounds over his contest weight but looks smaller because he is in off-season condition although he is still around 9% body fat. He has been as heavy as around 230 before although a little softer. 215 is a comfortable weight for Layne - not too far off from his contest condition but not too heavy where it is uncomfortable for him. Layne is great to talk to.

  • @TraumaER Dude what the hell r u talking about?

  • @EvDev86 FitnessByMatt explained it above; being cut really does make a person look bigger i guess
