I fail to see why anyone should take on board anything bader says- his main role in WW2 was as a prisoner of war (apart that is, from being instrumental in getting Dowding the sack after he had won The Battle of Britain)
The Fw 190 D could have been available two years earlier with all the consequences, but nobody realized in time that the large Jumo 211/213 "bomber"-engines would be perfect "fighter"-engines.
The spitfire 9 was inferior to the 190d and 109k, and the P51D and H, arguably equal to the Ki-84 and definitely worse than the Ki-100
