I think this is splendid fun its often played at christmas with my cousin he is totally awesome at it. I downloaded the game utterly free for my ps3 from here; one blow |.| com there are literally thousands best thing about it is they are all free btw 2:24 was top notch

no i'm talking about guitar hero 3 thats the one i have. i got it and after a month i never touched it once i got a new game. guitar hero 3 made me give up on music genre games. i have 4 games for ps3 (guitar hero 3, battlefield bad company, resistance 2, and killzone 2) guitar hero is my least favorite. idk what it is with guitar hero if u wanna keep playing it than thats fine but i'm just saying from my point of view. its repetetive wii fit is a new type of game

thats debatable. and dude it actually is exercising. i know someone who lost 10 pounds by playing it for a month. is guitar hero an exercise? only for one of your arms and its not even lasting exercise. plus a new guitar hero comes out every year wtf just stick with one fuckin title and just put add ons. who wants to waste 200 bucks a year just for the same thing with different songs? thats horrible marketing.

ok so here's how it went than. about a 100 bucks for guitar hero 3 and than guitar hero world tour comes out and u need a drum set and microphone along with the guitar so u gotta spend somewhere near a hundred bucks to get it (not worth it) and every year a new game comes out so thats 60 bucks a year for a new game thats all bull shit activision just make one god damn game and update it rather than make a whole new game with little improvements playstation and xbox have an add on system u kno

I was so pissed when they released Guitar Hero: World Tour. I had already purchased all the Rock Band stuff, $170, and then WTF they come out with a similar game with a different brand so we have to buy the over-priced, piece-of-crap instruments all over again?? They break easily and are of cheap quality. A guitar hero guitar retails at $40 or $50, can't remember which, and the drum set is a whopping $100. You can get the guitar brand new on ebay for $25, and the drums for $40.

and is all that money worth it. thats debatable but in my opinion its not. it can be a fun game but there are better games of different genres that are more fun and they last longer and they cost less. ur better off just getting an itunes account rather than get guitar hero or rock band cuz thats pretty much what makes the games fun. the music

It's totally not worth the money. Well the music is part of what makes the game fun, but it's also being able to play the music, even if it is with just some lame toy made out of plastic.

i agree with everything you said about guitar hero and it's sad to see how people don't think because if they did, they would see that rock band 2 is the better game. it's more consistent with add-on content and updates.

uh, DDR is much more intensive than anything on the wii fit. When playing hardest songs, you can burn around 80 calories a song, work up a sweat in seconds, and get that heartbeat going. As well, its a lot more fun. And how can u say a new Wii Fit doesnt come out every year? they're already talking about it.

Regardless of which one you prefer or types of music, if you play both RB2 and GHWT online....there is no possible way you could say the GHWT has better online play, and that is where I spend 90% of my time playing

RUINS THE CONCEPT?? It just expands it. I mean, you can play solo guitar if that's what you always do. Guitar Hero always delivers a big challenge, and now there's a bigger challenge for drummers and singers. Yes singing is tough, and the drums are almost unbeatable, but this is Guitar Hero, so I expect a good challenge! And yes, I'm very fond of this game. I started my rhythm gaming here and these songs have all grown on me...so many good times! :)

World Tour for me. It just has flat-out better songs; there's Sweet Home Alabama, Crazy Train, Purple Haze, B.Y.O.B., Hotel California, Satch Boogie, Are You Gonna Go My Way....the list goes on.

As for Rock Band? Pfft. The only real big names there are Battery, Let There Be Rock, Round and Round, and Spirit in the Sky.

I strongly disagree. I think Rock Band 2 has much better songs, as far as i've read on Wiki, plus great DLC songs + Your old RB1 songs. So in essence you have more songs to keep you entertained. That songs kinda interesting. And some of your listed songs interest me other than purple haze and hotel california, BYOB was the only terrible song on the album it was on and Crazy train is over heard.

well songs are different varying on the person. If you want better game modes go with rock band, the career mode is so robust and the DLC for rock band is light years ahead of guitar hero. I mean this month alone for rock band you get more offspring DLC, pearl jam album ten, stevie ray vaughn and chinese democracy coming up and nothing shocking by jane's addiction. Whereas GH gets some crappy european pack, but they do get a few queen tracks. P.S. Are you gonna go my way is in RB as DLC.

I still stand by my opinion. Guitar Hero is superior, since I couldn't care less about DLC at this point. There are enough songs that I have to master without worrying about other songs that I'd actually have to pay for to get an extra challenge.

Jesus, all this guy does is bash the game. The only real disappointing thing I foudn with the game was the music studio, and even so, I got the hang of all of it within a half-hour, and even made some very decent songs. I think that this guy is just a Rock Band fanboy trying to stop people from buying World Tour.
