I cant believe people are supprised their going to have a nuke ending! its been them two right from the start, they made history together! and they have had such a massive fan base from the start. of LOYAL fans who have stuck by them for years! and we have only had a few months of LuRe, and people think its FAIR to them to have a LuRe ending! its laffable, and a joke! @XXCharlieEyaXX I agree. I always knew Luke and Noah would end up back together. In fact I was hoping they would. But to kill Reid off like this is just bad writing in my opinion. I think the writers just got lazy and threw something together. In the beginning I didn't like Reid, but he grew on me. His character is what brought the story back to life. Just when Reid was beginning to show us that he has a heart, he will now give his to Chris in the ultimate sacrifice. He will give life in death.

I guess it is more reasonable if the first love ends the character starts another love which will be more mature ..my opinion doesn't change the fact we will have Nuke at the end which I find not very nice of Luke to burry Reid and runs into Noah's arms

@GerardWay4President That's true. On the 17th everybody goes away. I guess people, myself included, wanted things to end differently. That's what a good story does to people. We get caught up in the characters as if they are real. I never cared for soap operas. I just happen to get caught up in this storyline. If it wasn't for it I wouldn't be watching at all. So I will see it through to the end. I at least hope Reid and Luke have time to say their final farewell. It would only be fair.

@GerardWay4President It's funny that you mentioned that everyone goes away on the 17th. Lately I have been hearing the words of that Allan Jackson song that haunted us after 9-11. "Where were you when the world stopped turning that September day?" And come Friday September 17th I will be able to answer that question. I've decided to see the story through til the end. Someday I will be able to look back and say that I was there when the world stopped turning. I saw it with my own eyes.

@GerardWay4President Yes, it is hilarious. But I want to be perfectly clear. I'm not in any way trying to reduce the horrible acts of 9/11 down to the cancellation of a pathetic soap opera. I just thought it was ironic that the words in that song and the title of that show, which is coming to an end, sort of coincide with each other. On September 17th when that show ends that fictional world will literally stop turning. So thank you for understanding it and seeing the coincidence for what it is.

@exxodus29 Lolz, don't worry I wasn't accusing you. I just posted that so no one can attack us for it. Lol, I do wish ATWT could be on longer at least move Noah/Reid/Luke to another soap opera. The rest of the characters and the prejudice old people watching for 50 years and the crappy characters like Janet is what got this soap cancelled. It's sad Nuke was a bigger hit than any other couple yet they got the least airtime in the past 3 years. They had potential and it's a total shame.

@GerardWay4President Well, I agree with you there. The Luke/Reid/Noah storyline was the most interesting thing they had going. And they barely got ten minutes of airtime a week. I suspected Luke would end up back with Noah, but killing Reid was just bad writing I think. The writers should have been a little more creative. It's sad that the story will go out in such a pathetic manner.

@MsSlashgirl Well, If you are too young to remember, right after 9/11 Allan Jackson did a beautiful and poignant song called "Where Were You When the World Stop Turning." You probably can find him singing it here on youtube. The opening line of that song says "where were you when the world stop turning that September day" Since As The World Turns will end the 17th of September that fictional world will literally stop turning. Do you see the correlation now? It's just a coincidence I've noticed.

@MsSlashgirl You're welcome. You really never heard of that song? That's a surprise to me. Because right after 9/11 the television and radio airwaves were flooded with that song. It's a beautiful song. It's sad given the subject matter, but it's beautiful. I think Allan in an interview said he wrote it on a whim. But it's a really nice song. The words really encapsulates what a lot of Americans felt on that horrible day and the days following.

Yeah 9/11 didn't hit me at first. I had this feeling that like, not that it hadn't happened but that it wasn't real somehow and I felt disconnected from it since I wasn't there when it happened. My mom though would just watch or read about it for hour after hour and then maybe a few weeks went by and I just all of sudden felt to sad and started to cry and everything. It was weird. It's like, here I was feeling safe and protected while I'm sure ppl there weren't for a long time.

Like everyone else I was glued to the television that morning watching the events unfold, but it was like watching a movie. It really didn't sink in at first, the sheer magnitude and devastation until around the first year anniversary. I began writing about it, collecting every picture, video clip I could. I just can't let go. Now its like the story of Titanic every time there's a documentary I cant turn away

@dingdongqt It's sad but that's exactly how I see it happening. In his death Reid will save a life by giving his heart to Chris. I guess it's understandable depending how you look at it. The one thing Reid loved more than himself was his career. He spent his whole life saving other people's lives. And I guess in the end he will go out doing what he did best and that's being a doctor. In his death Reid will show us his true character. I never believed he was as selfish as he wanted us to think.
