If someone is shoving your bike over while you are putting it onto a stand there are bigger issues to deal with than stand construction. Like, why is a friend knocking your bike over?

good idea. what keeps it from falling back down, as at 1:58, if someone pushed the bike from the front would you have been whacked in the head by the lever?
