ok he is not emo! and if he was he has a tatoo that will make him kill the only friends he has left and not to mention he watched all his friends in the cross gaurd get killed and he will be the mindless minion of the (really cool) phyco that killed all his friends! so i think if he was emo (im not saying he is!) i wouldnt blame him. also in the first episode you see why he needs the dagger ARM and later in a filler episode you see how he gets it so dont go around saying he's emo!!!!!!

lol mar is kinda like naruto... for example ginta and naruto are both blond and kinda dum. they both have a super power(naruto gots the kyuubi and ginta gots bappo) also sasuke and alviss both got some quest for revenge and they both are almost emotioless...
