@92pearlexport the snare drum is half and half ...when u first get it and prob for a while theres lots of ringing and over tones and its just not pleasing....but after you add lots of treatment to it ..its replaced my other snares...you defiantly need new heads right away i use evans g2 coated and then i put moon gels on it and toilet paper on the bottom skin....i use the snare in my drum covers if u want to hear it
Yo man ! It's Amazing ! I have same drum, it's a PDP Tobacco Fade ? Same Crash Zildjian and nearly, for me, same Double Pedal, because after I have Axis Longboard !
@85Aheadstix Maybe I'm just an idiot, but I hardly think it's important what the one piece of gear the audience doesn't see looks like. Check out some Alex Rudinger videos, they perform very well for extreme metal.
The biggest mistake I ever made was buying these demon drive pedals. I sold them after a few months. Do NOT get sucked in by all the hype like I did. I mean "ninja bearings"? come on, you think bearings are going to slow you down?. LOL. I tried them out and I liked them but I went back to my old pedals and I have never been happier. Overpriced junk. Both the "plastic" spring tension nuts broke as well. The direct links make clicking noises. Garbage for that kind of money!
@jordanjcm id have to disagree some what...when i first got them i also was having the worse time with them...i played them as much as i could and kept tweaking but couldn't find that perfect feel...then i went away to college for 7 months and came back on my christmas break and they're perfect...i can nail anything i hear with them...very weird pedals
@player836 Yeah I guess it is a matter taste for sure. I had mine for 6 months and they started making clicking noises and I can not believe they make the nuts for the springs out of plastic. They are just way overpriced. I went back to my yamaha pedals that cost have as much and I realized I should have never switched in the first place. No matter how I adjusted them I could never get enough power out of them when needed. They are nice and smooth but way OVERPRICED.
@KHfan4ever23 I have had many many pedals and I treat them all the same. In fact I "baby" them. That is another thing, the chrome gets all scratched up just from shoes. I am just sayint for the money, the quality is NOT where it should be. Check out "Double Bass Drum Pedal Reviews Part 2" . There is a part 1 and a part 2. They are good vids actually. check em out They go through all kinds of pedals. It is always a matter of taste though. As I am sure you know. LOL Cheers
I bought the demons brand new for 300 off ebay. Best steal ever. Added wood beaters tho for more power plus the beaters wear and deform pretty easily. But looking into dw5000 pedals now I think.
is pearl demon drive come with the spike thingy for the slave pedal from prevent slipping? or need to buy separate ? if anyone see this..reply..thank u..God bless u n God bless pearl..=)
Put your hi hat stand infront of the slave pedal so the pedal goes under the leg of the hihat stand and it will be fine I used a realy shit hh stand like this for almost 3 years and it worked perfectly... Until the stand broke
ok u said the beaters are to heavy i know people are worried about modifying thier beaters but what i did with my beaters is marked the spot to cut with a grinder pulled out the beaters cut off that amount the you can get the beaters farther into the beater shaft holder reducing the distance to the head and in tun reducing the overall "weight" or power you have to use to push the mallet forward but make sure you don't leave a jagged edge on the bottom of them grind it to make it smooth no damag
@ganitywaltz like i said these pedals are really expensive u could find really good ones for about 300 to 400 like axis or a iron cobra tama pedal...i have been drumming for 9-10 years using the same pedals for 6 of them and they were only about 250 doller pedals so i kinda splurged and got these...these are extremely customizable and u can make them feel exactly how u want...i wouldnt suggest them untill u are dead serious about drumming
These are too expensive, so go with Trick? Lol

I have a friend who used to have pearl eliminator P-2002C.
He bought this pedal and one thing he said to me was there's no thrill in these pedals.
He sold it after 8 months and bought DW9000 and said it was perfect..

@jordanjcm Definitely not junk. Also, bearings WILL in fact slow you down. Bad bearing cause slow pedal action.
