I was also an armwrestler and met Sharon at his best time. he had a incredible strong hand, wrist & forearm! with this power he almost has beaten everybody. the other muscles are for armwrestling not so important.
It has a lot to do with Sharon Remez being a bad ass motherfucker too. I once saw him pin Gary Goodridge, John Brzenk, and Anatoly Mairansajew all at once. LEGENDARY. And he pinned Neil Pickup when Neil used all 3 of his arms.
having a good start is very helpful.... but i'v seen john brzenk take down MANY guys that had him at the start and one inch away from losing... still, he prevailed.... its all about stregth, technique, and experience.

It amazes me when a smaller armed guy beats a guy with huge muscular arms. I think it has everything to do with the start.
