I was just wondering, since you wear contacts. Do you ever find some eye make up sticks to your contacts? I had a new pair in yesterday and my eye liner pencil stuck to the contact when i was wearing them and wouldn't wash off later on..

i don't think so. the green foundation neutralizes your skin, while a green shadow will ust turn your face green.

freckles arent caused by sun damage. People with lighter skin tones tend to have them more so than those of darker tones. Sunlight hitting the skin causes the production of more melanin in order to protect the skin layers underneath. If you have melanin that builds up in one place, it will result in freckles. thats basically it. It isnt damage on the skin.

I love the color corrector. the yellow has been a life saver for my under eye circles.

I have the medium color quad and it works wonders, I have tan skin so when I get a pimple and pop it ( I know I shouldn't ) it leaves a dark mark but with this u can't see the scars and lasts all day!!!!

The purple under your eyes can also be because of lack of meat in your diet. So vegetarians often get it.

E.l.f do a colour corrector concealer pallet for 3 dollars or £3.50 I have the Coastal scents one and I like them both the same. The green in the e.l.f one is really good at covering up acne scarring :)

you can also use the purple as a highlight on your skin so if you put it on you cheek bones it helps to make them stand out b4 your foundation is put on:)

It is colour theory! Like she explained in the video...colour theory is used while using concealer. For example. the colour green cancels out red. On a colour wheel the opposite colour of red is green so they cancel each other.

brown is in the orange/yellow family, so purples and blues should help to cancel out brown.

it depends on what the brown is made out of. browns are a mix of all three primary colours, so whichever colour is mroe prominent in the brown will be the one to cancel out. a reddish brown needs green, a yellower brown needs blue :)

Hey I just wanted to let you know that hand sanitizer doesnt help protect you from contracting h1n1. h1n1 (swine flu) is an airborne virus so the only way to protect yourself is by wearing an approved breathing mask. Hand sanitizer is definitely good for quick sanitation while doing makeup though! :)

cool i use the green as a spot concealer for acne and apply with my concealer brush, then put tiny bit of yellow concealer, and then foundation, and acnes gone all day!

I was just at K-mart and got the CG trublend micro mineral makeup, and the kabuki that it comes with looked rough, so i got a different one. the one i got was from Posh, and had a portable leather case. that brush is SOOOO soft and i love it. its my only kabuki besides the CG one, and its my first so, i was hoping you could review it!

When you use a color corrector concealer, when you apply it on your skin will it blend in or will it stay green or what ever color you use?

corrector won't stay green because the green cancels out redness (esp. from acne) and the red (frm the acne) cancels out the green so the G and R colors won't be noticeable..(sorry if that was confusing)

(This is NOT a joke post) Many transgender women have difficulty with dark shadows resulting from facial hair that has not (yet) been zapped by laser or electrolysis. A common remedy is to use a tiny bit of red lipstick smeared on the problem area (upper lip or chin) underneath some regular skin-tone concealer after a good close shave. Sometimes that doesn't work as well as one would hope for. Do you have any better concealer suggestions? (Haters need not reply!)

one thing i heard that works well with the color quad is mixing whichever color you need to use with your match from your skin colored quad.. that way you dont have green or yellow or purple showing through

You should try out Lise Waiter's concealor wheel (about $21 canadian) for 5 or 6 colors....3 shades of "skin tone" and a purple, and green one. Sooo good. I dont even use my MAC concealers anymore
