gusto ko tlga c lea kc kapg kumanta cya wlang mraming arte ung mga bago ngayon ang dming arte iniiba iba ang tono lalo n c sarah.....mrAMI CLA hlos lht ng bgong singer,,,
I don't understand why these stupid people are laughing. There's nothing funny about the song. It is in fact a poignant song about resisting temptation and the consequences of infidelity. Stupid group of Filipinos!!! It's because the singer is also insinuating sarcastic gestures...the stupid audience followed. Maybe if the original artist is Barbara Streisand...it would be an honor but since this is Eva Eugenio's which Lea thinks is below her, hence her attitude toward the song.
What's funny with these phrases? Now, who is stupid?
Ano kaya ang katawa-tawa sa kantang "Tukso." BOBO NGA TALAGA ANG AUDIENCE NG CONCERT NA ITO. Nagtatawanan sa hindi naman nakakatawa. Just the typical, "upper middle class pinoys," na mapangmata an akala mo mga sino...PWE...
@aldrinhu Bulag ka ba? Hindi mo ba nakikita ang attitude niya while singing this song, or even while describing it? Like I said, her words say one thing but her actions, smirks and all, say another. Nakisama pa ang audience sa paglait...you belong to this kind of people dahil hindi mo nahalata o nakita. Mas bobo ka or maybe you're just like her.
MGA BOBO!!! The song WAS considered "bakya" by Filipinos during that time. That was not Lea's personal opinion! Lea picked this song because she knew that despite Filipinos considering this "bakya," this was an important fabric of Filipino life, so she considered it worthy to be part of her "Songs from Home" repertoire. And this was a fun number! GANITO NA BA KATANGA ANG MGA PILIPINO NGAYON???
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@aldrinhu Yes, Pinoys nowadays are this stupid that they're totally clueless about the context of Lea's comments! A result of watching too much TV and reality shows and not enough mental exercise and an awareness of history. Sad...
IM SORRY!!! AM NOT A 'JUKEBOX SONG HIT' FAN BUT I'M VERY SURE THIS IS NOT BY IMELDA PAPIN.......THIS WAS SUNG AND POPULARIZED BY EVA EUGENIO!!!! WHOEVER THEY ARE.....
Baka mas bumenta pa yan kesa pinagsama-samang record mo. Sino ka ba? Wala ngang nakaka-alam kung sinong tatay mo. Huwag masyadong mayabang Leah. Your words say one thing but your actions, smirks and all, say another. Ipokrita!!!
1. This is her concert called Songs From Home in PICC. She performed selected OPM hits in this concert.
2. The reason why she uses more English language here rather than tagalog is because not all of her fans in this concert are Filipino some are foreigners?
Remember that Lea is an international acclaimed singer.
3. Obviously she's enjoying the song that's why she laugh after she sing...
this is not her usual repertoire but she gave justice in this song..admit it.
she is having fun... what's wrong with that.. its her concert and as always she is versatile, open to any genre of music and the one of our BEST talent SA PINAS.
I grew up in the Philippines and have been living here in the States for over 25 years. I really enjoyed the "jukebox hits" when I was very young in the 70's. I don't understand why they were considered as "bakya". They're music GENRE just like country or oldies here in US. Only difference is this genre was in a different time and place. I still don't understand why people would associate music with social status.
@iampears I agree with you. I was disappointed when Lea mentioned the word "baduy". She was like smirking on the jukebox hits indirectly. Eartha Kitt sang "waray waray" and popularized it. She is not "bakya" or "baduy". She is an internationally acclaimed singer!
