  • he's good. i love skating to that music. you need to check out the different parts in this is my element especially nyjah huston's and chad muska's cause they have a lot to do with how i mixes in with the song.

  • hes actually from Berkley California and his name is david madson...get ya shit right

  • Oops, forgot to ass his name. I'll put it in an annotation.

The internet says he was born in "Cincinnati, OH, in 1976,". I did try to fact check that much.

  • Heyy thanks for the review im seriously gunna think about going and buying this album. i was just wondering what other stuff you think i would like if i dig odd nosdam? im also a big amon tobin fan although they are pretty different but fuck odd nosdam is sick!

  • Well, if your just into sick, off kilter beats, check Jel "Soft Money" or there's always some of Odd Nosdams bands like "Themselves" or "Subtle".

Nosdam has his fingers in a lot of pies.

Might as well check out El-P while you're at it.

  • thanks a bunch man!

  • I was a huge Def Jux psycho fan for years and wrote the anticon collective off as a bunch of douche bags based off that old beef between El-P and Sole, but I got over it about a year ago and discovered how great Odd Nosdam's music is. This is becoming my favorite record of his already.

  • Lots on AntiCon just try way too hard to be different. Odd Nosdam is a solid dude though.

He makes some really trippy shit.

  • Yeah, his beats are addictive. I think as far as the top of the Anticon label it's a tie between Odd Nos and Jel. Jel's music is insanely good. Check out Jel's Soft Money ASAP if you haven't yet.

  • I'd go Nosdam, Jel, Dosh and Doseone.

I can't remeber if Restiform Bodies is on Anticon too, but they're last album was mega tight regardless. Why ? is also very good.

  • Yep Restiform Bodies is on Anticon and I'm definitely into that last record "TV Loves You Back". I saw them perform at my local record spot back in Febuary, they put on a pretty tight live performance. Passage is the rapper from RBs and he has an album on Anticon also called Forcefield Kids, it sucks hard. It's not as good as TV Loves You Back anyway.

  • Oh, and I have to mention Tobacco's album Fucked Up Friends too because it's on anticon, that album is AMAZING!!!

  • Hahaha !! I have a review of Fucked Up Friends on my channel.

  • I don't think they're really trying to be different, its just that they're such different and unique individuals expressing an artistic vision only they get sometimes. Every artist has those moments really if you're ever expressing yourself.

  • I'm sure on some level though they are trying to do something original.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I think they just enjoy trying new things and have a unique approach to making music.

  • That sounds about right.

  • His name is David Madson :)

  • I still haven't mastered the art of research fully.

    Thanks, G.

  • omg where'd you hair go!?

  • Hair heaven.

  • We can't talk anymore. You're too hairless for me now.

  • My mom made me get my hair cut. :(

  • philly is a sk8rboy

  • I said see you later boy.

    I haven't went skateboarding since I was 17.

  • hahaha i use to have one of those huge skate boards with He-Man painted on the bottom. We use to sit on them and ride down the hill by my house.

  • Mine was dark purple and black with one of those muscular Satan characters on the bottom.
