Very nice, Im trying to learn this song myself and on the acoustic it can be pretty difficult to get just the right tone. Its taken me a good bit of practice to play just the first 20 second of the song.
Might I suggest you play the chords to piece it together so you have the whole song, it would be really awesome.
As requested: 20-22 ghost notes. Slide third string 11th fret up to the 13th fret. Then you drag your finger across the strings from the first string 12th fret, second string 12th fret and the third string 13th fret and as you hit the third string you slide back down to the 11th fret. Its effectively a slide into an E chord on the top three strings, a rake back over the chord and a slide back down. Then you just play that down the octave starting with a slide into the 11th fret fifth string.
@jjbennett123 You are an amazing guitarist! Thanks to your explanation, I now understand how to do those incredibly cool ghost notes :) Think it's basically the rake technique, which is something Mayer picked up from Stevie Ray Vaughn (SRV)! I recommend looking up SRV rake technique here on youtube. His song Lenny incorporates it a lot...
Dude seriously you're crazy good at guitar I've got like the start of the thing down but definitely not as smoothly as you ...How long did it take it to learn ? And how long have u been playing guitar ?

I still stand by my previous comment that pretty much no one but JM should try this on acoustic, but this was MUCH MUCH better than your last effort.

I never comment on videos, but I just have to say that this is so nice, really smooth and tight. You're one of a few people who do the song justice.

I've been playing for about 3-4 years and i can pick stuff up reasonably quickly, probably a few hours practice to get this down.

can you give any advice for the ghost notes? I have no idea where to begin when it comes to the faint notes at 20 -22 seconds in.

Before anyone asks as i forgot to mention it on the licks video, the chord at 0.16 is
g-4
d-4
a-7
e-0
and i have NO IDEA what it is, it just sounds nice.

@jjbennett123 It's all from c#minor pentatonic scale, he just extracts chords out of it (I think)
