@ryno490 The 650r is liquid cooled, and the 650l is air cooled. the L is more for trail riding and some on road riding, also has great reliability. the R was built for baja and has more horses than the L does. the L also has a steel frame while the R is aluminum, making it 65 pounds lighter than the L. the R also has 45 stock hp while the L only makes 32.

i have a 06 yz250 that i love, and its very clean, but i do mostly desert riding and every now and then some woods so i think im going to try and sell mine and get one of the BRPs
I would recommend test riding a brp if possible, because you will love it, but for different reasons. it is very fast and very torquey, but heavy in the twisties. I am having a very hard time deciding if i want to keep my yz250 or brp.

@daleyracingteam Single cylinder w/ dual exhaust ports. Its easy to look at the exhaust and say its a twin cylinder but its not.

the xr650r is commonly referred to as the "big red pig" because they are a little heavy compared to their crf250 and 450 counterparts
