Dave, please write a book about your time with Pearl Jam. A full exploration of your story is necessary. You were a huge part of the greatest band in modern history. Need the full story of why you were let go, from your perspective. Peace.
I havent got the Pearl Jam Twenty book yet but I have read some posts where the Dave sacking was glossed over. I think that Mike and Stone said complementary things about Dave. It really is sad that Dave has been shut out. Its like Pete Best multiplied by 1,000. I know that Matt Cameron is with the band and thats fine but the Christian thing to do for a PJ20 moment was to reach out a hand of friendship. The PJ Greatest hits photo in the cabin where Dave was cut out of the photo was just sad

Here's an idea.. let's send a lot of tweets at @PearlJam saying to invite Dave to the festivel they'll do or someting like that, just saying to them invite Dave to do anything. Another thing, if they are invite to rock and roll hall of fame, Dave has to be with them.
Dave, this fans commenting in here on this video are trying to give you all one huge message...to you, and to the rest of the former members of PJ. In case you can't hear it loud enough...the message is this: " WE WANT TO SEE YOU BACK WITH PJ AT LEAST FOR A TOUR or SOME GIGS". Fans will never forget a reunion like that.
WE LOVE YOU MAN! if this never happen, this chapter will never be closed.
Put differences aside (if there's any) and make this unbelievable moment come true.
How this band needs you!! Still amazes me how PJ sound was so GREAT in your era... got nothing against the rest of the band.... but I got lots in your favor!
Thank you for sharing this Dave, your contributions to the band will never be forgotten. Would love to see you make an appearance at PJ20–do you still have Stone's phone number? ;-)
you've always had a distinct energy with every song. the ambience is different, the warmth and weight is different. it's a different dance and it's beautiful. thanks for sharing.
WOW! Dave! Thanks a lot for the video! Hope you rejoin Pearl Jam at least for a song or two on their anniversary tour, why not, right? The fans deserve to hear you again to play these PJ songs! You are the greatest drummer in the world! Much love! Cheers!
I would kill to see you beat the shit out of the drums on Even Flow live with the band one more time one of these days... I was born in '91 and was too young to be able to see you play back in those golden days lol :/
Cool. I hope when you're having a less than spectacular day, you stop and realize the amount of people you've influenced. The confident...heavy backbeat, ghost noted piccalo-like snare sound is something that I've always been drawn toward in music... NO doubt because of you.. Thank you
@goodnoonehasthisone And without Matt Chamberlain, there would be no Dave A., because Chamberlain is the one who referred him to the band in the first place! :)
Great video Dave! Not sure if you put this footage together or not, but it seems to me that this band and the people you worked with (band members and crew alike) still have a special place in your heart. I've been a fan of the band since the beginning, and still am, but there's no doubt that you were an integral part of Pearl Jam in the early days. I agree that seeing you sit in with PJ again, even just for a song at PJ20 or something of the sorts, would be mind-blowing. All the best!
impresionante!

I noticed that dave actually plays drums with the heart, when at the time the tickets were cheap and they really played with the heart ...
