Without our stalwart warriors, we would have nothing.
Ever watchful over our freedoms, our intrepid soldiers make daily sacrifices in order to ensure that we are able to enjoy the quiet freedoms that so many take for granted.
Many come home from battle missing limbs, some are physiologically impaired, some of their marriages have been destroyed, many have lost their civilian jobs, some have lost their homes and many have dreams filled with the horrors of battle. To these people, I salute you, I pray for you, and I want you to know that I truly love you. May the day come when this government pays you back for all that you have done for this country.
This video brought tears to my eyes Jeff. It was touching and brilliant. The sad part is that our government has long neglected those who served in the military. As someone who works for a US Naval base once told me, "To the politicians who send them to war, they are nothing but belly buttons." To us, they are our fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, friends, neighbors and heroes who have given so much for our freedoms. To be continued.......
