Tonight is the first time I have ever heard this song and I am stunned by its seeming simplicity, yet such depth of thought and emotion. This is so typically Petty in that he always surprises pleasantly in some way that keeps me hooked on him. Just a man and his guitar singing a reflective song...doesn't get much better than that.
