  • @lando30001, it looks like he's using burnt sienna oil paint thinned with turpentine. It's also called a "dark wash", MIG makes a dark wash straight from the bottle. He's also using oil paints for the dry brushing as well. Some prefer oil because it takes hours to dry and you have lots of time to correct it.

  • with the ageing process, is he using black paint with a thinner? if so, it is a strongly diluted black?

I would like to apologise for my previous behavior towards you, it was unneccasary and abusive. I would like us very much to be friends, and stop all of this anger in its tracks. I'm going to Un-Block you, and I hope that you will do the same. I hope that we can be friends.

Thankyou, and have a happy easter. :)

  • @bttfspencer I went through a 12 step program myself....

  • @JAGDPANTHER20

    Doesn't surprise me.

  • @MMAMSLT

    It's call a 'wash'

The 'wet stuff' is paint + paint thinner. Preferably acrylic or enamel paint because the base color is already lacquer. That way when you clean up the raised details, it won't ruin your base color.

    Thus,

_Base color: lacquer --> Wash: acrylic or enamel.

_Base color: acrylic --> Wash: enamel ONLY.

_Mix ratio: 1 part dark paint(black) + 10 parts thinner.

  • @MMAMSLT turps probably

  • Hwat is the wet stuff he apply to the paint of the tank after he is finished painting it?

  • why didn't he glued and painted 8 soliders?! + brass projectiles and guns

  • Iwata revolution is about 80 bucks and will do just about everything you can imagine. Excellent all around airbrush. A decent compressor will run you about 200 bucks. I have a testors but want to upgrade to an acceleart.

  • You are looking at around $700-$900

  • your crazy, it wont cost that muchos

  • n*i*s*e

  • $100 FOR airbrush, $70 for compressor
