I would actually stretch the end of the puppet over the hole so that my hands were free to play/interact with other figures and the tree that grabbed figures....by the way I was a big fan of using Marvel Secret Wars figures w/ MotU Playsets. The scale was slightly larger and that somehow made more sense to me......
They had it all perversed, Hordak wasn't even an enemy of He-Man he was the enemy of his abducted sister Adora who was to become She-Ra Princess of Power. The Fright Zone was much more techno and much more fortress than that silly clubhouse thing.
But ... But ... it ATE Man At Arms. I actually had the Fright Zone playset as a kid and it was pretty darn cool. The puppet only fits very small hands though ... I remember outgrowing it pretty quickly.
Ah, Peter Cullen aka Optimus Prime does the narration for this toy commercial! Bet he really got a kick of doing this stuff. It is so fun to watch. It makes me want to get this playset. I wish Mattel reissues it some day. Along with SnakeMountain ,and Castle GreySkull. Along the other original figures ,and other vechicles.
I didn't say that Peter Cullen did all the MOTU commercials. I said that he did it for this one if you read my other post carefully. I know he has done other toy commercials as well. Like Transformers, etc. He must of had fun doing them.
The Fright Zone playset was the first action figure playset I ever had, and after the dozens that I later got, it still remains my most cherished. That puppet really sealed the deal.
Wondefull I love the Fright Zone. Please see my Series on youtube : FANTASTIC - TOYS AND MERCHANDISE. You can see Masters Toys, STAR WARS and and and....
When I was a kid a lot of kids wanted to have Sketletor's Snake Mountain because it's the best choiced for any parent who can afford a battle fortress for their kids but never the less The Fright Zone was also one of the best for me because Hordak and his Evil Horde Warriors own that battle fortress and to me their one of the best action figures ever.

But he didn't do all of the MOTU commercials, it's sometimes hard to recognize him, due to the bad sound quality...

Sadly, kids no longer have this level of interactivity with one another. The puppet was a nice touch.
