you can just open your mail box before you walk on the path then close it about ten seconds after

theres alot easier way. walktowards a path/doorway and open your mailbox wait about 30 ssecounds then close it...your staanding in the pathway. (you can close your mailbox as soon as you think you have reached your designated location)
