I think Ryan Donawho should have played Ryan Atwood from the beginning! If only he had auditioned.....I love Ben Mackenzie as Ryan, but I think if Ryan was Ryan (lol) from the start....everyone would have loved him too. Imagine him beating up Luke and saving Marissa 500 times...He's a perfect Ryan, and him and Marissa are adorable together!

I like this idea! Ben Mackenzie is THE Ryan Atwood, but I also love Ryan Donowho and I can see him in that light. Mostly though, I would have just loved to see Ryan Donowho and Mischa Barton as romantic love interests because I thought they had terrific chemistry together - a big reason why I ship Johnny and Marissa as well as Ryan and Marissa, so this version of MaRy would have worked for me.
