Fabulous, I've followed Rangers from Oz since 1973, used to be overseas member number 5.
My votes: Wegerle, Sinclair, Gerry Francis
Sorry, video didn't have first set play from free kick. Circa 1976, I think Gerry hit ball from about 27 yards...Don Masson in middle of wall, bends down and ball hit where his chest was...GOAL, I still remember, has anyone got this on video?

does anyone know the name of the classical song at the start of the video? we play it at loftus road after the star wars imperial march. sounds like it should be in gladiator the movie!
Great selection. I would've included a Kenny Sansome cracker against Arsenal and a beauty by Simon Barker against Liverpool in the cup. Love the Lomas goal. Is my memory playing tricks on me or did we play that Partizan Belgrade match at Highbury?
Bloody hell. I remember the night that Sansom scored that goal. FA Cup 4th round replay wasn't it? Absolutely pissing down and I got soaked standing in The Loft. Brilliant night. Also, we had to play at Highbury because Uefa wouldn't let us play at the Bush due to the plastic pitch.
One of my favourite goals was scored by the much missed Dave Clement against Villa in 1976. He ran with the ball from his own half, exchanged a 1-2 with Bowles on the edge of the box, then smashed the ball into the roof of the net, just a few feet in front of me. The goal was shown on grainy film on the BBC news (they filmed a lot at Rangers back then, Loftus Road being so convenient for the TV centre!).
Favourite Bowles goal: a last second free kick v Coventry, again shown on the news only.
as a life-long Rs man, this video is a great reminder that the superhoops always had classy no.10s. Stanley never made the selection? Hard to understand that I must say!!! Maybe thats for vol 2? In Ireland 15 years now, hoping the gospel begins to spread now the good times are about to roll. Bring it on!!!

Roy Wegerle- Is the reason I started supporting Queens Park Rangers back when I was a little lad...
Fantastic player the best number 10 in my 22 years of supporting QPR hoping Akos Buzsaky gives him strong competiton
