fj's 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS

I love lancers fwd is underrated awd is overrated. I plan on making my lancer cvt supercharged once rrm.com finishes making a bullet proof magnesium cvt belt or till levelten.com makes bullet proof cvt transmissions then all i got to do is forged my internals in my engine and bam supercharger time I plan to get like 240 - 270 hp id be spanking everything except an evo but id be keeping up with an evo atleast. And doing all this would probably cost me 6 thousand - 9 thousand dollars, lancer ftw.

@indygangster cvt rocks dont knock it till you tried it and rrm.com and levelten.com are fixing the problem with the cvt transmission not handling high turbo boost or high supercharger boost. It takes about 6 - 8 seconds to get from 0 - 60 in L mode its even faster. The 5spd in the lancer sucks its laggy unresponsive, cvt lancer would beat a 5spd lancer anyday.

@indygangster rrm.com is working with mitsubishi to make a stronger cvt belt like a bullet proof cvt magnesium belt for high turbo or high supercharger applications. And levelten.com is going to start making bullet proof cvt transmissions just like they got bullet proof automatic transmissions for racing.

so the painted rims...what did you do exactly? did you paint them yourself or did you take them somewhere to get painted? and what type of paint is best for rims? i was thinkin about doing the same thing you did. and they look great

Sorry for the super delayed response, if you google how to paint rims, you'll see a lot of detailed descriptions. I followed one forum I found but they are all pretty much the same. I used Duplicolor car body paint for my rims. Just make sure you sand them down well and apply about 8 thin and even coats.

Hey, I wish I could tell you but the previous owner had it done. He traded this in for a new Evo X MR. Check out new pics via the link in the description - I painted the rims. :)

i think i'm gonna either get blackouts or just get the stock rims painted black. i doubt many people would be able to tell the difference.

Very nice GTS, the interior is very very nice. The lack of leather being available is about the only thing I hate about mine. All I've done so far are HID's, no flicker and NAV video upgrade....thinkin about the greddy SE exhaust though....
