I think McCain has probably experienced enough "excitement" in his life to appreciate environments of minimum adrenaline. Far better than the present culture of crisis of drama queens and reactionaries. I think it's pretty cool how McCain went back to work; didn't pull an Al Gore, grow a beard, and run off to Europe. Good handle on protocol and perspective.
