  • FUCK. i love blender

  • There are some great tests here.. I tried so hard to reproduce them when I first started using Blender a couple of years ago..

    *waits for more* :D

  • nice fractals. Is that hard to control in Blender? It's a pain in Maya.

  • @ryanjohnsond blender's better

  • @LeoProdutions You've tried with Maya?

  • How much does this software cost???

  • @ClevergirlProduction Blender is free clevergirl.

  • and this was the software 5 years ago. Its more advanced now

  • Why would you rub a cloth on your jell-o? Yuck.

  • PLEASE HELP! When I scale the soft bodies in the game engine, their bounding boxes stay the same size. When I start up the game, the soft body appears at the original bounding box size. But it works for rigid bodies.

  • @I8DEAN8I try apply obj scale etc- to update the objects world scale- this should update it in the game engine.

  • iCH FANDS GEIL WIE ER DURCH DEN vORHANG DURCH GEGANGEN IST oder als alle sie auf einen rauf geschmissen haben!

  • LINK

    ?

  • marshmallow man!!

  • @mikelsson80 the game engine boundings are limited, so i suggest you use the proper softbody tool if you want to make an animation. if you are making a game, the shapes you can use are very limited

  • going to sound like a silly noob question, but how did you make the rounded (blue) cube at 0:07?

  • @W3ST4WAY add cube, press W, subdivide smooth :) i didnt make this video but thats how i would do it

  • but you rendered with yafaray havent you???

  • dope

  • Marshmallow!

  • There are some very interesting tests in there. I haven't tried doing anything with soft bodies in my animations, it could be useful.

  • How do I make a shape that, say, a liquid could flow into and fill up?

  • I like the one at 0:30 and 1:06 does were realyy cool:)

  • 45 000 viewer XD

It was at 44 999 when I watched it

  • How do you make the white background?

  • nice!! XD

  • how do you make the balls stay in the cube?

  • how did you make them reflect?

  • 1:06 I s not a softbody, but still really cool!

  • @Neptutron I think the pieces were

  • cool

  • That, right there, is 3D awesome sauce.

  • in the softbody tab there is an option called eStiffness and self-collision physics. There should be some tutorials on the BlenderWiki pages.

  • 1:05 is tight

  • i love soft body

  • creative

  • Stunning !

  • I want learn more about it. Do you can recommend to me a tutorial? I would thank you> Bye.

  • go to blender (dot) wiki and look up the soft body tutorial for more information. It can get really cool. This tutorial basically will teach you how to create a bouncy ball on a plane.

  • cganim8or

  • Dude YOU HAVE to make a tutorial on how you did 1:07 im serious im like dieing to know how

  • This is just a guess, but he probably used the explode modifier and some other stuff. :/

  • ive done loads of research and looked through all of blender's buttons and i still cant find the answer and its driving me insaneO.o

  • So realistic, I could almost taste the jell-o. 0.o

  • 1:07 HOW???

  • I think it's an explode modifier

  • could be but the problem is does it support the physics of the particles? his did an mine, well, didnt :(

  • omg that last one was crazy, you shouuld make a tutorial

  • amazing what you can do with free software...

  • How did you get the smaller spheres to stay inside the cylinder at 0:58?

  • I'm somewhat pretty "blender savvy" (that's sav-vy not w lol) I'm pretty sure he just made a cube, made it transparent, then put the spheres inside of the cube (and activating colision)... wouldn't swear to it though...

  • How did you get those icospheres to stay inside the slightly transparent cube at 1:19?

  • I feel you at 1:22

  • How did you make the one at 0:39? That one's awesome!

  • excellent work.

  • lol that snow man was like wEEE im fallinf.."omg where my face!! AAAH!!" *fall* 5/5 *

  • The snowman was the best!

  • awsome

  • JELLO!

  • Good job

  • iv made simple ones but nothing like this!wow. shush its 1:30am im supposed to be sleeping lol

  • 00:31 - YUMMY!!!!

  • wooow... thats awesome!!.. PRETTY good blender skills by the way =)

  • when you have the spheres in the softbody, do you have to use the game engine thing?

  • how do you make the jelly substance ? I am trying for a whole day, but not really succesfull

  • woooooooooooooooow

  • haha! Cool!!

  • How did you get the shadows to be so shiny and reflective?

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaagh i can't stop watching this I LOVE IT

  • omg that was kool

    ╔╗╔═╦╗

    ║╚╣║║╚╗

    ╚═╩═╩═╝

  • To the guy who asked about the first video, I'm pretty sure that was Yafray, an open source add on to blender that allows for better ray tracing. And great job man, I'm way to impatient to do that kind of stuff...I hate blenders render engine, i wish i had blenders interface and 3ds max's render engine...

  • very good

  • THis is so COOL!!!

  • somebody marked your comment as spam

  • How am I spamming?

  • Ouh ****.. dude you are my new idol :D

  • One of the best blender vidoes ever made. love it!

  • Aesome tutorial!!!!

Question: how did you get the shine on the first video?

  • LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!

  • This is so amazing i really need to learn how to use blender,

  • Yes - please make a tut

  • dude you should make a EASY tut

  • Hehe... Love it! Just funny to watch that kind of stuff... Try using Max, it will give you a lot more to play with. Now I'm in the mood for Jello...

  • Max is proprietary, expensive and (really) heavy 3d animation & rendering system. Blender is opensource, zero priced and feather light 3d animation & rendering system. The evolution that Max had from its begining to 2005 is equal to Blender from 2003-2007! Blender is developed faster than Max.

  • I take it you've never worked in-depth with Max?

  • hey could you answer the question???? how do you make the 1.06 ball explodng effect??????

  • this is some really nice work, man.

I really want to know how you did the shattering, though. I could really use that for a project i'm working on.

  • GREAT VIDEO: 5 *

  • jaja , estas chingon (y)

  • i love your originality. like, you didn't have a bunch of Grey cubes, you added color and texture to them. 5 stars!!!

  • How did you do at 1:06 , the exploding effect?

    Using game engine?

  • OK How can you make it so that they actually break into parts?:O

  • the jello effect was a softbody application that you can engage on any mesh object to make it appear jello-like and it is all fully modifiable (modifiable???)

  • Yes it IS a program. It's free, it's open source, it's great and it's at www.blender3d.org. It's called blender.

  • Blender looks like an AMAZING program! Or maybe, it's due to the talent of the artist? Either way, I'm excited about the future of computer animation!

  • yes

  • Yeah i'm also wondering how you did the jello cube.

  • i was traing to do the first effect, a jelly cube, but, I can not apply smooth or transparent material because appears "artefacts" I mean, the material is not uniform, every face have diferrente look, Can you explain me how did you do that?

  • AMAZING! OH, GOD, IT'S AMAZING! You're really talented with Blender! Mind making a video tutorial or two? I use Cinema4D usually, but Blender is quickly becoming... amazing!

  • Blender is quickly becoming awesome

  • Just HOW DENSE is the cloth mesh in the end? I assume quite a lot, for that precision.

  • vertices: 16641

    faces: 32768

Only took around one and a half hours for my computer to calculate though.

  • JELLO FX!!! SWEEEET

  • Not just softbody! Softbody and caustics. And a SNOWMAN! :D

  • Wow. Tagzerz. THis video is a masterpiece work of ART~!

    Art baby!
