  • dalienst t'es très fort

  • This is one of the best works of the group ei yawa, funtastic!

  • A lot of these shows were recorded in the television studios in Kinshasa and you were not allowed to get up and dance.I saw Choc Stars there and can you imagine how hard it was not to dance.

  • @zambia50 It must have been fantastic to have been able to see these shows live in the studio!

  • If you are a Luo, then at some point you probably sang after nyambula: "nyathina onge pacho". Wish we had the lyrics and their correct translation. Till them, I'm enjoying the music and using my own made-up lyrics as necessary.

  • I wish I was in the audience. They are just sitting there, like blocks. What a waste!

  • @JonesDolla Very unkind of them. They were like a hyena that lives in sugar plantation but its not aware that sugarcane is sooo sweet

  • Thank you very much for placing this wonderful song!! Too beautiful to be true.

  • can somebody pliz send a Video of this Song with the whole translation? that would be nice, coz i really like Dalienst and his super Voice.

Gigantisch

  • Absolutely!!

  • ..absolutely one of the best sung by Dalienst, (secondly only to Mouzi in my book)...and to listen to the teasing Franco's solo guitar licks in the background, this is the way rumba was supposed to be played and sung

  • hina nasye nende respect !! For those who grasp that lugha.

  • @naidamu my brother where do you place Mamie Zou in your book

  • I wish Dalienst was better known - this is truly a classic.

    Come on Man

  • Cheza na mimi kwa heshima....I dont think swahili (or anything other than the original) would do justice to it!

  • Mkuu hiyo ndiyo maana yake. Dance with me with respect. I just received the CDs of Franco & TP OK Jazz. I love this music.

  • To our friends in DRC. Kindly avail books to enable some of us to learn the basics of Lingala language. Where can I find the OAU book "Yekola Lingala"

  • Thanks alot. It is an electrifying hit. At one time, I heard the Kiswahili version of the song and appreciated the message.

    Ahsante sana. Endelea hivyo.

  • where can i listen to the swahili version of this song?

  • Yes, una swahili version? I would like to listen it.

  • wheres the swahili version ( youtube?)

  • There is NO Swahili version of this that Dalienst had anything to do with. He surely would have mentioned that to us, because he did make a point pointing out to us there are actually three studio recordings of Liyanzi Ekoti Ngai Na Motema (Munsi).

  • tafadhali, can you upload the swahili version of the song.

  • This song reminds me of a wonderful time in my life......Good times are hard to come by. Thanks

  • Oh, the good old days!!!!

  • ayaya

  • i love dis song

  • I love it threeeee.....!!This is when music was real music and musicians were naturally designed to sing! Music was from the depth in their flesh and bones and not from their pockets.

  • what can i say? this is owesome thanks youtube

  • One great hit. Reminds me of my childhood days in the early and mid 80's. This was the greatest band ever assembled in African soil. His music will live forever.

  • October 2007 is dedicated to Ngoma50!!

  • da song is too good can somone look for trensempoli. a song by franco plz.

  • okay, i will put tres impoli for you, but it will be audio only

  • can someone kindly interpret the first part of this this song for me. I love lingala music but i can not understand a word and i am so frustrated right now coz i have no clue what this beautiful song is really about. what does Makambo mean? what does lisusu mean? Please help.

  • A woman goes dancing to enjoy herself, and a man has his eyes locked on her, because of her beauty and the way she is dressed. She is saying that this man does not inquire who is responsible for her good upkeep. (another man). She is going to respect herself and be loyal to her man, and anybody dancing with her must do so with respect. makambo means trouble. Lisusu means, other, another or, else. It depends on the context. I hope this helped.

  • Thank you so much my dear....this helps alot....Thank you..thank you

  • Ah nostalgie...lorsque tu nous tiens!!!!
