LMAO I did the same thing last June because the stylist who cut my hair gave me a bowl cut when I asked for a 1 inch trim. I left my hair 1 inch all around.

To be honest, I think it's best to just get a 2-3 inch cut all round just to look "decent" next time a stylist/barber fucks up.

BUT my only regret! I wish i got like a mo-hawk done... since i was shaving it all off anyway. cause it was pretty good length for it. Just for a day, get some pics of it on my facebook profile - the sickest profile pic it would've been lol. But no, i just didn't think of that... was more anxious to just get it all shaved off at the barbers. That was the other thing, i didn't shave it myself.. thus would have to make 2 trips to get the mohawk shaved off later.

I used to have medium length messy-look hair, grown over my ears and all... i liked it but always struggled to find the right hair product, keep it messed up without falling flat.. since my hair is pretty thin. Eventually i just had enough.. couldnt be fucked maintaining that look, any look, so got a number 2 buzzcut all over. It was kinda scary at first, knowing it would take months to ever grow back if i dont like it. But it was great, got used to it, now i'm keeping it like that

Asian guys tend to look smaller in the shoulders and I guess the general upper torso bulk with shaved heads. I think maybe its some cultural memory of shaved monks looking so gaunt or very old men with no hair at all. I've noticed many elderly Chinese, Korean, and Nipponese women losing hair too. But you should get a real hair style though, not cheapo barber-jock stuff.

I suggest not going to a Barber but a Hair Stylist. You can find Hair Stylist at your local mall. Always a good idea to ask a Hair Stylist their strong points in style so it will give you a rough idea on which Stylist would be the best for you. Most Barbers have never seen a asian style hair cut so don't be surprised.
