@richcasias Actually curious, not cynical, because one of the movies i saw was a italian movie a few years back, but never a vintage movie before that dealt with love, cars, etc. :) That is why i ask.

A beautiful song that has lived in my heart since the moment I first heard it as a young boy living in Los Angeles, Calif. In 98, I went to Deauville and walked the same boardwalk and beach, I could feel and hear the music in my heart. M. Lai and his talents are a blessing to the wolrd giving us such beauty, emotional heartfelt passionate music. There are only a few songs that have the master key to my most deepest corners of my heart, and this is one of them. Merci Mr. Lai.

I haveloved this song since it first came out in 1967. It has stayed in my heart ever since I was a young boy in L.A., Calif. In 1998, I went to Paris then to Deauveville to where the movie was filmed. I walked the boardwalk and the beach while in my mind I could hear and feel the music. All the songs from the "Un Homme et Une Femme" have stayed in my heart all these years. Romantic and heart felt music. M. Lai has blessed us again with the talents God has given him. Merci,

@RichadTheLionHeat Similarly I heard this when at school age, and combined with the film has remained in my mind as the epitome of that eras' chic, I have always had a recording around to play. It combined so much style ,the clothes cars , the French at the time and even made rain smart ! Some music is comes and is in perfect tune with our beings/aspirations at a certain time , rarely does it last as this . I had to buy a Bentley because of this film !!! ( not the Mustang!)
