I've been following your music and I absolutely love that you're using your talent. Keep on doing what you love. Your work is amazing and your talent is undeniable. Thank you for your inspiration and allowing me to follow my passion as well.
hey evan. i have a question for you about recording here. i know you use the zoom h4n in this cover, but have you ever tried using the internal mics on a drum kit, without any other recording device? if so, how did it sound, and where was it placed? I was just wondering as i'd like to start using a h4n to record my own drum covers, or cut some rough demos with it, drum-wise. hope you can help me out here if you have the time.
anyway, great cover as always, great touch with the glasses!
I watched this and my jaw dropped instantly and remained there until ten minutes after the video ended, I realized I had been drooling like a vegetable. Not to mention, this was immediately after watching the BBC Orchestra perform "Doghouse". Well done, sir.
@PixellatedFaces Thank you very much for the compliments! All of the parts were recorded with the H4n internal mics. That is a great sounding lil' contraption. :P
most AMAZING and BRILLIANT cover version of Kid A, no disrespect to all major label artist eve done before..this is the best of it, even without vocal
I salute you, good Sir. This is simply AMAZING work. Captures the feeling and mood of the song perfectly. I am at a loss for words. There's really only one thing to be said: THANK YOU.
D= ...I am speechless... I officially do not feel worthy of talking to you... (Formerly a feeling I reserved for the likes of Thom Yorke, Johnny Greenwood, etc, themselves). I cannot thank you enough for all your hard work on this project Evan. It is truly a magical work of inspiration.
One of the best Covers that you've ever done. I was amazed when I listened to the glasses. Now I have no doubt that you'll be one of the most viewed artist on YouTube, it's just matter of time. :)
@crazymatts5 Hey man! As you can probably tell from the video, it just took a bit of experimenting with glass size/amount of water/part of finger/speed. I tuned to each pitch of the chord by changing the amount of water in the glass, and had to use a couple different glasses to hit some of the pitches. After that, it was basically just trial and error to see what made the best tone. You should try it sometime, it's fun! :D
This is absolutely incredible Evan. One more time again I am in awe of how beautifully all of the little parts came together. I'm at a loss for words, but I can say that I think you need to do more of these types of covers. Although I do enjoy your tasteful drum covers, these are simply gorgeous!
this is beautiful. absolutely. i may die of happiness.
