But you slightly missed my point in your response. 60-80% of David Allan Coe fans think he wrote this song and thinks he was the original artist and David Allen Coe only perpetuates this misbelief because he won't give proper credit. Coe's recording of this song is really good. I wouldn't argue over Loggins or Coe's recording and who's is the best. If someone can carry a tune, it's hard to screw this tune up. This is not Coe's best of this tune, but just look around on Youtube and you will find his orginal recording of it. Peace and RIP Dan Seals and Vern Gosdin.....
