Very authentic feel. Have you looked into antonio lauro's music?. It's basically fast tempo waltz with an afro-latin syncopated feel to it. You might like his music.

absolutely spot on. ive been learning this piece and have watched a lot of different vids of it, and this one is going to be my reference point. awesome job. i think this is the best performance of this piece on youtube for sure. audio quality could be better. but you diddnt miss a beat. even the kaare norge vid is a little sketchy in spots but this is beautiful.

Slow down, is not a race. when you play the melody make those base stronger so you have more of the actual Samba feeling. Overall is good, but if you slow down a little and you put the actual Brazilian rhythms it will sound better .:)

Slow Down? Have you heard Jorge Morel, the composer play this piece? He plays it just as fast if not faster!

I haven't heard him play it, but the fact that he plays it fast doesn't meant that it needs to play like that. A huge example are the Rachmaninov piano concertos. I haven't heard worst interpretation that the one played by himself lol. Samba is not suppose to be played that fast. Listen to the recording of David Russell. I think that is a really good version and accurate in bases and rhythm.

Ich hatte letztes Jahr zwei Stunden Einzelunterricht bei Jorge Morel nach einem Workshop auf einem Gitarrenfestival. Das war eine sehr lehrreiche Erfahrung. :) Er ist leider schon etwas kränklich, aber er spielt immernoch toll Gitarre.

Very good precision, speed. Passion is also out there as Adam said as well. You are a very good player but seeing your passion and youth, (and since you are asking for comments) let me say this; You are too eager to please. Take your time, slow down, and improve your diction, phrasing and stability. You are still very young, you got plenty of time. Quality is more important for you, because you got potential. Play more Bach, Sor and Lobos.
