  • i actually got a JVC Everio S GZ-MS120 for free, me and my family were in this small lottery and i was reading the numbers and i yelled dad, mom, i won!!!!!!!! And so i won this awsome camcorder and camera together in one awsome created camcorder. I was lucky, could have made like $269.99 out of it but i opened it, loved it, and decided to make video's with it and its funny because i only have a youtube account because of this camcorder.

  • I have the same cameera.

  • for some reason when i upload videos from my JVC GZ-MS120RU the video doesnt take up the full youtube screen and i dont know how to fix it...its like the video is in a little box in the middle of the youtube screen please help me :(

  • @WaRmAkEr187 Please see my video "How to edit/upload from SD camcorders" for the solution.

  • @WaRmAkEr187 get sdcopy

  • what i mean is u took this video with the camera on show

  • wow the words & stuff are really clear compared to my mino hd

  • hey thats in pleasant hill right??

  • what u actually uploaded this video with the video with out u buying the actually buying it i didnt no u could do tht

  • @MarkieBhoy17 I brought my own SD card to the store.

  • @vwest7ife no i mean u actually took the video by them standing on show

  • how did you get it to fit full screen?

  • See my video "How to edit/upload from SD camcorders".

  • @CSquire82 Of these three, I would definitely pick the JVC.

  • @vwest7ife does this camara has a light to record in the night???

  • Yes.

  • @vwest7ife is that tru that with this camara u have to convert the videos and pic to be able to edit the videos?

  • No. See my video "How to edit/upload from SD camcorders".

  • How do you make 16:9 i recorded in it and imported to sony vegas and used widescreen settings etc but still 4:3

  • See my video "How to edit/upload from SD camcorders".

  • ok, do you have msn or anything that i can talk to you about this on :S ? Im a pretty big geek but this has me stumped. I import to vegas from MOD and i can play but when i export its still 4:3 and the file is 10gb and doesnt play :S , I have a converter but id prefer to not use it because it may suck some quality out :(

  • Did you watch my video? It will solve your problem.

  • one question...Memory is included?, If so, in what capacity?

  • No built in memory. You use SD cards.

  • @vwest7ife

    ok...

Is the quality is very good or not?

  • Yes, this JVC takes crisp, clear video, comparable to the Canon FS200.

  • is dynamic zoom like optical zoom?

  • Yes, it is optical zoom but uses a larger portion of the camera's image sensor, so you get a wider field of view. Canon does the same thing on their camcorders and calls it "advanced zoom."

  • LOL that's so cool and surreal, the way they spelled Theatre, it's like something out of an alternate universe.

But I like the picture quality on this camera. Even when you zoom into something, it's got a crystal clear picture. Seems to have a good steady picture too.

Not like my DXG. I can't do a steady picture without putting it on something if my life depended on it lol

  • This is a very good camcorder. The resolution is better than the GZ-MS100 which I have.

  • "Theater" is the standard U.S. spelling. We only use "theatre" when we want to be fancy... like stores which call themselves "Shoppe" instead of just "Shop".

  • I hate stores that spell it like Shoppe

nice camera thinking about getting this

  • Typically "theater" is used to describe the actual building, while "theatre" is used to describe the profession.

  • aah, here in Canada we always spell it Theatre.

  • This one doesn't have as much features as the Panasonic has, not that much zoom and also no optical image stabilizer, but instead it would have had a dual SD slot and a much bigger battery. Also a built in video light and it seems like this one does better in low light conditions.

But I also don't liked that weird Laser Touch thing, when I tried that thing in the show I already knew that I would have problems with that thing.

  • Yes, Laser Touch is rather annoying. JVC's MiniDV tape camcorders use regular buttons and a joystick instead, which I find much easier to use.

  • When I went to buy a new camcorder it was pretty hard for me do decide weather to buy this camcorder or the Panasonic SDR-S26, wich I bought in the end.

Finally I got the Panasonic because I wasn't sure if the JVC one had stereo sound. It just said "Dolby Stereo Creator" and for me that sounded like there was only a circuit to generate a stereo effect.
