  • Dude did u copy this?

  • this is not 1min producing, you have all the sounds kicks, snares etc all ready to just record..

But hey I wont tell ;)

  • @HardLiquor145 hehe, that's true. It took about 2 days to set up the right sounds and prepare the synth lines, drums lines and stuff. In general it takes 4 to 5 more days to mix and master a song. But in this case it's rather a rough mix which took a few hours if I remember right. But yeah, please don't tell :-)

  • @YummyBeatsClips haha :)

  • Like it man! =D

  • HEEYY!!I just uploaded my first BEAT MAKIN VIDEO!It's kind of Pharell meets Timbo!Judge for yourself and thanks for your Subscriptions...and know you'LL like it!!!Look at me now....Peace!!!

  • WACK! 1st off, Timmy doesn't make a beat like that......he starts 1st laying down the sample(s) with his Ensoniq ASR-10...then he beatboxes to the rhythm...then he adds each instrument to how it hits him.

This is just crap and he'd do the same if he wasn't working from samples 1st.

  • @iYEMTheGreatest no, you are not ;-) You seem to know everything?! So you should also know that timbaland is not alone. He got a big team around! He got special audio engineers making all the drums, for example. So they do use samples! Maybe it would be better to record a real beatboxer, that's right but not every producer like me is able to work with beatboxers all the time. So I am glad that there are beatbox sample libraries.

  • @SlPJSiR The beat is wack. It doesn't hit and it doesn't take me anywhere. It's too continuous. Also, there is no sample used. Trust me...if you like this shit, then you must like other wack shit. No disrespect. You must like Scott Storch or Jermain Dupree.

  • @iYEMTheGreatest Yes, I also do like some tracks of Scott Storch but also many more (also classical music). And I always respect the work behind. The sounding and the characterisitc isntrument choice of Storch for example is great and definitely not wack. Well, the arrangements aren't the best but just try to create such an atmosphere with a few isntruments without copying anyone else. Don't get me wrong, I also respect your opinion but I didn't like the way you wrote it down.

  • @iYEMTheGreatest i agree its whack

  • @iYEMTheGreatest and BTW there are no rules about how to produce a song. At the end people like a song or they don't. No matter what equipment you have used. And I like this one very much. To me it even sounds like a Timbaland beat. And if doesn't to you, it's a great production anyway. Thumbs up.

  • @iYEMTheGreatest

Urgh, it was made in 1 minute....and who cares what timbaland does first..lmao. How the hell are you going to say its wack and say other peoples beats are wack...and don't have any clips of you making beats wth...LOL

  • @PdubzCrew 1ST OFF....I'll be damn if I post any of my beats on youTube or clips of me making beats! I am not trying to have my shit sampled or my secrets or style bit for some chump to make a profit from. There was a clip on here of Tim beatboxing and guess what??..Some chump SAMPLED IT and made a beat from it!

I sound better than 98% of the unknown beatmakers on here and I know that from others saying so. HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED TIM DOESN'T POST VIDS OF HIM MAKING A BEAT???

  • @iYEMTheGreatest

Meh talk is cheap. There no way for me or others to believe your better unless shown.....okay cool timbaland doesn't post himself making beats...but there is a clip of kanye making a beat.....and a clip of pharrell making a beat....even scott storch...so cut that off...

Plus a video clip of someone making a beat...they do that either to show there talent or tutorials.....and tutorials are helpful..

  • u fkn rock subcribing now plz check me out tell me what you think! im good in production not so much for the mixing part. twitter.com/@engeniusbeatz

  • so each additional component of the beat (snare,shaker,lead,bass,etc.)...do you use a different track for each so you can EQ, FX, edit each separately? or do you mix them as one track and EQ, FX, edit the beat as a whole? just starting to make beats using plug-ins for Pro Tools, and i need some tips.

  • @YummyBeatsClips How long did it take u to learn how to produce?? Do u have any links to tutorials that show you how to make beats in an actual studio.....Do u always need that keyboard?

  • @LeopoldSuper13 I'm still learning (and I will never stop learning) :-) But I'm making music for around 15 Years now.

What do you mean by studio? Nowadays almost everyone produces in his own digital studio. You only go to a high end studio to mix down your tracks. So you can watch our tutorials for example.

No, this keyboard is just used as a master keyboard.

  • @YummyBeatsClips Ahhh okay I see you--Thanks for the correction bout studios I didnt know that.....But Im looking to start producing my own beats using 100% original materials w/o any samplers what so ever....Since you have been producing for so long---do mind telling me the things I need to have to be able to do this....That are possibly in the range of $400- $1000 if not less?

  • @YummyBeatsClips I love this track man! What bpm do you have this set on, it has a real nice bounce!

  • How did you get the paino?:D i want it to:D

  • Ok i have a question: My Setup is an old M1 Korg connected with an midi-cable out to my old Kurzweil k200r. can i do such things like you or do i need some more? input in the pc is over an klinke-cable into my extern soundcard.

    greetz john

  • @5BlackJohn5 if you are using a DAW with a sample player or at least a standalone sampler you should be able to make such a beat. The most important part are the drums and the sounding of all instruments. You would need the sampler for the drums cause you can't rebuild them only with a synthesizer. The rest is up to you.

  • @YummyBeatsClips man thats a pretty sick beat, i have been working with "reason 3.0" for about 3 years n its awesome, and got "fruity loops 9.0 producer edition" bout 9 months ago, and just last week i got

"reason 5.0" and it is crazier than ever, i like how you said you will never stop learning coz i feel its almost impossible for me to ever 100% know these programs...... Top upload man!!!

  • Damn nice man!!!

  • haha man that was so sick - raww

    loveeeed itttttttttt

  • OMG RAAS YOU ARE AMAZING THIS IS OFF DA CHAIN!

  • not bad bro !!

  • sounds like the second beat, SECOND BEAT in this vid wit jay z n tim,

  • lols at the people saying this beat is wack.

I sense a bit of jealousy in the comments.

If u can do better show it.

The beat is fly to me,props.

  • Amazing man! This is killing me.. 5*

  • that is a fking ill...ill beat! damn man

  • well played, seemed like you deleted a bass note that really pushes it nexx level tho.

  • danja is good but he got more pop and less hip hop than timbaland . i like the one he did on trey songs cd and we taking over.i still like timbalands beats better cuze timb got a better body of work

  • NICE

  • i like.

    what program u using?

  • cubase

  • @YummyBeatsClips can u do this on cubase le 4?

  • @Robot0Ninja sure you can do it with every DAW. However we are using Cubase 5

  • it does kind of sound like the old tmberland beats.the only thing different is timberland has a ear for new sounds. he probably makes 20 of these in a day never to use them . he also is more complex with drums and tweeking sounds.

  • lmfao do your research look up danja u know nothing

  • good beat

  • i say it needs more cowbell

  • new kick pls

  • Nice beat, but that cowbell-sound ruins a bit

  • The drums are simple.Aint really timbo complex.digging the lead synth.the bass is okay.

  • He's using Cubase

  • good job man!

  • this beat is kind of wack... actually it's really wack

  • wat program is that

  • very very good beat bro

  • I hate so much modern h-h beats i hate so much timbaland etc ,

mu favourite beat is from DMX "Stop beeing greed"

  • I dont think that cowbell fits your beat. Everything else sounds great.

  • nice tune man.. keep it up.btw wat software u using to make this

  • nice tutorial and beat, please check mine when ya got the time ;)

by the way wot program you use to record your screen is it fraps?

  • Bro can i use your beat to do a song..if anything the credit goes to ya....its a rap i kinda love the beat...

  • cool

  • how can i make the strings at the beginning of the video

  • it's a build in rhythmical gate fx. But you can also set it up for your own. Just use a normal gate (insert fx) with a side-chain channel and route for example an open and closed HiHat with your preferred rhythm to the side-chain, so that the gate only opens with every HiHat Beat!

  • thanks bro ure a genius

  • which keyboard are you using ?

  • Yamaha Qs300

    But only as controller.

  • how did u no what instruments and chord to play

  • cool

  • music is over.

  • this is the kinda beat i like!

    keep it flowinnn

  • Goodness.... you are crazy talented!!!!

  • Nice Dhit si that dude !

    Good work !

  • you killed that shit son!!!!!!!!

  • this is off the hook!!..imma go and get them drumz........keep producing

  • were are you gonna get them=D

  • the website in the description

  • what sounds do u use

i have a motif rack but i don't kno if i can get the drums

and what step do u make so u would not have to quantize the notes

    plz reply

  • When we are recording synth sounds we usually make our own presets but we are also using the motif for natural sounds.

The drums are all from yummybeats . com

I don't know if you are using the motif rack only cause the motif rack has no sampling function. Anyway you can also download our free drums and try to find a (free) software sampler or something like that.

In this clip we are using the auto quantization function from cubase.

  • if i can find a good tut on how to sample music i would

im using motif only because it was the only generator that i could find to go in my sound card through my speaker with having on one peaker workin and the other no sound comes out

i also like the tone generator but i don't use it much

    also

are ur drumset all made by self or is it a compilation of other sounds

ir you made them try posting a tut on how to make ur own sounds

  • Just watch our first clip.

Yes, we designed all drums ourselves.

  • funny i get that sample from step ya game up timz kit 2. Obviously they are sampled from timba song.

  • Definitely not! We record and design all drum samples ourselves. You can get them at yummybeats (dot) com

The synths are also programmed by us!

  • Witch programm?

  • Cubase 4. But only as sequencer and host!

  • And what does that means, sequencer and host?

  • Used as sqequencer means that it was only used to record midi notes which control or "play" external or internal (hardware or software) instruments like synthesizer or drummachines etc.

Host means, that we also have isntalled VST plugins which need a host software to work, like cubase, logic, protools, fruity loops etc

  • Ah, aight. Did you downloaded Cubase? Cuz I've got a keyboard, but it doesn't work on the computer yet, so I want a good programm.

  • No. I don't know if there's a downloadable demo version.

  • Ok, thanks for your help, and keep making beats!

  • OMG! that was soooooooooooooo cool!

yummy beats is sooooo cool.. can't afford it though :(
