I really like Hess' oddball sense of humor and styling. But Gentlemen Broncos just got too weird and silly to keep from sinking. It really had potential and a few really good laughs but fell flat. I hope he keeps making comedies because he offers something different from the typical formulaic Hollywood comedy.

Right... Napoleon Dynamite was good. But the thing is, with films you can have kooky, odd characters... but if literally EVERYONE in the movie is completely weird, off the wall and bizarre then it doesn't really work. There's nothing for the weirdness to bounce off of. Wes Anderson movies have bizarre, hyper real or just plain unrealistic characters but you believe them because there is some reality in the film for them to bounce off of. Gentlemen Broncos just didn't work, not sense of reality.
