  • Before Holloman, there was Hurricane Mesa.

  • I did some work there in the mid-'70's, as an enlisted technician with the 6585th Test Group. If you can find video of the Space Shuttle Ejection Seat early trials, you will indeed have some interesting video!

  • Was there in the early 90s working on ACES II ARS program. Our shots were always exciting, but the best thing I saw while I was there was a night-time Mach 5 sled shot from the mid-range control bunker. Surreal. At the time, there was a crew from Sunstrand that was surveying the track for the certification to Mach 10. Good times...

  • @orangelion03 Fantastic! We've been at the track many times over the years filming for one documentary or another, but always during the day. Our friends at the HHSTT have provided us with some great footage of night shots but I'd still love to see one in person. Thanks so much for sharing your story.
