  • I wonder why the EU bothers with votes anyway....THEY JUST IGNORE THEM!

  • Funny how its Europe and the Euro that have made Ireland's economic situation worse. The European Union has destroyed Ireland and will destroy other countries in Europe. The time has come to end this crazy European Union.

  • Politicians are not suppose to sell out their countries sovereignty and rights to determine their own future. That's what Mr. Farage meant.

  • As much as I like Farage in none of these videos he makes any constructive proposals which I find odd as he is such a great speaker.

Apart from that he's absolutely right. All members of the EU give up parts of their sovereignty in favor of EU institutions making certain decisions. And we've seen what kind of crap the EU commissions sometimes produce. Suddenly all cucumbers need certain lengths, shapes, colors - as if Europeans had no other worries than a cucumber norm.

  • @albedoshader: If people are to put their power into the hands of few they should be the ones to decide if they want it this way or not. And they should be able to vote on such important issues no matter if referendums are part of the constitution of a country or not (like Germany, for example). If the people don't want the treaty, accept it. Then ask yourself if the treaty shouldn't be changed to acceptable terms instead of forcing it onto whole populations.

  • Nigel is a legend! from all the sold out politicians out there, HE is the only one who has the balls to speak the truth!

  • The pro Europe lobby are all free loaders !

  • nigel for president

  • fuck EU

  • what a complete mess we're all in.

  • haha farage makes politics interesting

  • What an idiot the Spaniard is!

  • @Ohyewildthong the thing is that he's a fucking moron.

  • Ireland benefited from Nazi gold x

  • farage knows more about the EU than the people running it!

  • Nigel just flamed that spanish man XD

  • VOTE UKIP!!!

  • nick is the onley person who can keep jeremy paxman on his toes hes not at all phased by the leftist bullshit wishywash he comes out with

  • SUPPORT FREE SPEECH.

    ☻/ This is Muhammad.

    /▌ Copy and paste him.

    / \

  • Fuck the gravy train, vote UKIP

  • We need a GIP in Germany. All mainstream parties are in favor of the Euro.

  • Vote UKIP. They are the only party which truly cares for democracy and human rights. The Liberals, Labour and the Tories are all pushing the global warming hoax and plan to tax people into poverty. Labour already has plans to introduce a "Death Tax".

  • @AGWnot what this "death tax" exacly, ive looked it up on google and didn't fully understand it

  • @BooMers232

From what I have been told when you or whoever dies their money gets taxed. I am not 100% on this but if you are entitled to a LARGE amount of money I am talking millions you get taxed ridiculasly heavy. I think it gets capped to like a certain amount of money and the rest is "tax"

Again I am not 100% sure as it was a while ago I was told about it but thats the main jist Im sure.

  • @BooMers232 when u die the goverment takes 20,000 off you

  • UKIP is the logical choice.

  • YES BABY YES! IRELAND ROCKS!

  • FARAGE FOR PM!

  • I'm glad Ireland had the choice. What decision is more important to the public than who governs them? An elected government has no right to give away power to foreigners without the people's consent.

I hope Vaclav Klaus waits til next year.

  • Keep Ireland AWAY from the EU superstate!

  • the New World Order sucks

  • After the yes result, an MEP says We respect the Irish yes decision. Immediately Nigel replies, You didnt respect their first No vote.

He says it all, as usual, brilliant man.

I see a bunch of rude arrogant men & women around him, smirking, decrying, denying the truth when they hear it.

    A pox on them!

    G

  • EXPOSE THE NEW WORLD ORDER

  • Comment removed

  • The Irish spent so many years fighting for their nations independance from us and now they've thrown it away again.

  • @Bhugerie i mean that thumbs down as a compliment.,

  • @Bhugerie it was an unmitigated disaster. it was also almost guaranteed to happen at some point, as they were going to keep re-running the vote until they got what they wanted.

  • the paddy is basically saying that without the EU, they would be dust!! Nice to know Ireland cant stand on its own 2 feet!!

A Union of half baked pathetics awaits us

  • The referendum was a joke. The Eurocrats were told no in the first election, so they force the irish to vote again until they get what they want. I bet they dont have to vote again. This election must be compared to those in Afganistan and other corrupt democracies. I want a eurocrat to explain to me how this is democracy and not just a EUSSR.

  • haahhahah farage is the bomb sometimes. I know fernando Aguilar, he is indeed a socialist scumbag. No economic nor ethical sense whatsoever.

  • Obviously the Czech's and Poles will be smart and ratify it and Lisbon will go into effect....DUH. Get over it people.

  • If that's what you call being smart - never in this lifetime.

  • UGH....People need to get over this Europhobia...Lisbon Treaty just helps the EU perform at least Mediocre on the world stage.

GET OVER YOURSELVES DUMBASS ANTI-EU FREAKS

  • There it is again - the failure of Europhiles to put the pro-EU arguments to the Eurosceptics, (who have done nothing but argue reasonably against the EU, especially about its obvious contempt for democracy), and instead resort to labelling them mad, stupid or evil. What is the world coming to if reasoned debate and democratic accountability is chucked out of the window by the majority of a whole continent's representatives? More power to Farage and Hannan.

  • But Snoody, most people in Europe don't want the EU performing on a world stage.

We want some simple trade agreements between ourselves - not a United States of Europe!

  • Well....too late now isn't it? Poland and Ireland both ratified....only Klaus left and he's obligated to sign at some point or another.

Lisbon Treaty is passed......deal with it. It's a good thing and get over yourselves thinking it's going to be Hitler v.2

  • Too late now Snoody?

If Klaus doesn't sign before the next election in the UK, then we will get a vote.

And no amount of bullying & lies will make us Brits vote 'yes'

  • The courst have 2 weeks and after that Klaus has 7 days to sign. He'll probably sign first week of November if he's smart.

You can forget about him holding out until May, because it isn't happening.

  • courts*

  • No worries. The Tories have already said that when they are next in power (i.e. 2010) they will re-negotiate Britain's place in the EU.

Expect to see Britain leading the way against the EU super state!

  • I doubt it. Daniel Hannan voted for Barosso to be head of the european commission. That tells you everything you need to know.

  • We'll see. My comment did have a fair amount of hope over experience in it!

  • You've always been an isolated culture in Europe.

  • Comment removed

  • That says it all. Cultural imperialism and disrespect. This act is the new Ermächtigungsgesetzt.

  • Why? Tell me that, you don't have a right to say that a thing is right without justifying it in a free democracy. Also, learn english, europhobia is NOT a word. It doesn't exist. europhobia translates as fear of europe but I do not fear europe, I despise it.

  • "But you should be ready to stand up for the people who say yes" what a fucking hypocrite what about the Irish people who voted no 6 months ago

  • Please do! It'll really upset the apple-cart. This EU is the wolf in sheep's clothing.

  • You needed to referenda to get a 'Yes'. Now, when you say, "back in the game", this implies that Ireland was 'out' of the 'game'. This is a falsehood, which shows your lack of understanding, or that you are lying - though I suspect the former.

Ireland would still be a fully functional part of EU. Still have Euro currency and have as much free movement as any EU nation. But now we will see many opportunities for 'no' campaigners to say: "told ya so!". Beginning with Blair as unelected President

  • So, according to you if you disagree with the EU, you're mentally ill, or a "Lunatic" as you call it. Hitler also believed that if you disagree with him, you musn't be right in the head. He killed these people, what are you lot going to do?

  • Come on Klaud, save democracy and Europe. We in Ireland failed to do it. It's on your shoulders now.

Nigel is correct. The campaign for a yes vote was full of lies.

  • We voted NO.Everyone I know and asked this time around voted NO again & yet it still passed. This is a farce and disgrace to democracy. The EU juggernaut cannot be stopped now :(

  • I have a network of friends, colleagues and family amounting to about 120 people - two were saying yes. wtf!

  • As one of the many people who was not given a chance to vote on the Lisbon treaty i am truly disappointed that the Irish were so easily duped by a media campaign into voting their freedoms away to a corrupt, expensive and pointless system that it seems will be headed by war criminal Tony Blair. How does it feel to know you only have 0.8% of a say in E.U law and in turn YOUR OWN? whilst Germany has 17% and Britain 12%, who do you think they will be helping? It won't be Ireland.

  • "No to Lisbon is not good answer enough"

Well I think that anyone who holds question over the EU's lack of democratic accountability is now very enlightened indeed.

A very sad moment this is for democracy and national independence. Well done Ireland, you've spent the last 800 years fighting off British rule and now you've effectively insulted those who died for your freedom by handing over your right to self-governance to a far more evil regime, and without a single shot being fired.

  • farage for president....

and i hope the czech president will say no... or give his people a referendum so they can say no...

  • baboonsquadron -Good and Truth finaly always win!

  • the irish have been bought and sold for EU gold

  • It's a sad day for Ireland and the world.

    Brian, 17, Ireland

  • Ireland should have boycotted this second attempt at deception.

  • i am suprised that anyone hasn't started a petition to get a referendum.

  • i did on the downing street website and it was rejected because it was a duplicate even though i couldn't find 1 related to a Lisbon Treaty referendum.

  • if there were any well known campaigns for a petetion then there would be over a million signatures.

  • the only chance we've got is if the Czechs say no and the Conservatives or UKIP get into power before they ratify it or whatever

  • The end of democracy. THe NWO WON

  • Not yet.

Official figures don't arrive till 4.30PM and I believe that counting continues beyond then.

It aint over till it's over.

Heh, I'm glad Nigel isn't so negative! :)

  • nigel is true democratic and pro europe!

but he is against undemocratic central power state with bureaucrats (prof. politicians). these want only the power of big bank money. people must play chess! to know the next steps ;-)

nwo is coming with a yes vote. step by step.

I am german, but I say NO!

and say Nigel for PM! ;-)

  • Apparently a pathetic 50% turnout overall......

All those who stayed in doors should be ashamed of themselves. Hopeless, pathetic Losers. Who frankly, will be the ones who will complain and bitch the loudest (Due to their ignorance) when they find out out for themselves what the meaning of YES is...

    With a 50% turnout?

    NO chance of a NO.

  • Let's hope the answer was, "it was no the first time you asked, it is STILL no NOW!!!"

We, the public, agreed to a common market and nothing more than that.

Someone now has the opportunity to stop the Euro-Leviathan and I have a lot of faith in the Irish.

Let's hope that, this time, the "NO!!!" resounds around the whole of Europe!

  • lol £60billion euroes of investment

the handouts have stopped coming all those businesses and new industry will now go else where the EU is already paying for DELL to move to poland

Most of irelands (illusion of) wealth has come from borrowing money from savers from other parts of the eurozone. Now they're upto their eyeballs in debt its time for the irish to pay it all back.

  • there is an easy way out of this of course. give the eu countries a referendum. who is more right? klaus or the eu? i think its clear the eu are running scared from a real democratic mandate.

  • WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW.

Did he just say a "no" isn't good enough. I, I can't even tell you how mad this makes me. Arghhhhhhhhhh! This is lUNacy! Absolute lUNacy! No isn't good enough, how about fuck no, hell no, God no, Shit no?

  • 'Professional politicians'??!!

Of course they want yes - their noses are sooo far in that HE-UGE trough of (unaudited) taxpayers money, they can't bear the thought of having to actually WORK for a living!

If there's a yes vote, in a year or so, Ireland (and the rest of us) will hang our heads in disbelief, at the ONLY chance we had of stopping this emerging new EUSSR!

Nigel knows what he's talking about why will no one listen?

The EU will be unstoppable gobbling up ever more until it implodes.

  • And nobody questions the fact that after years of lobbying by dodgy weapons manufacturers like UK's BAE, the EU is willing to institutionalise, at treaty level, the European Defence Agency, with its intent to 'strengthen' the defence sector and develop an EU armaments policy.

This can only lead to trouble and more death in the world.God help anyone who votes this in.U've got blood on your hands for condoning that aspect, for fear that ul be ostracised by the EU bigwigs.

    Into the mire we go.

  • EXACTLY right.

It's a fucking arms deal, one that's being pushed through because people don't understand economics. They will get NOTHING from this treaty, you hear that ireland, NOTHING!!!!!!!

  • Nigel Farage and some women that would get it! vs a man that looks like Beavers and Butthead. And a Harry Potter look-a-like.

    Nigel for PM!

  • Nobody is talking about what is in the treaty

and Coir are the biggest pack of idiots. If people voted yes, I'd say 1 contiributing factor was Coirs '1.84' wage sign, which automaticly made U think the No side were ridiculous. Well done Coir.

Your members would probably consider it too sinful to access the internet, or to do any research on the fact that Ireland has a minimum wage, but I'll thank you anyway.

  • I do hope the EU get's cancer and dies. Please, please, please be a NO!

  • Get out the EUSSR!

  • NIGEL FARAGE = THE MAN!

  • nigel cutting across the spanish guy. tut tut

  • You should always stop bullshitters.

  • stupid spaggetti bending fart he`s as crooked as his mouth.

  • well said

i disagree somewhat but well said nonetheless
