should i train only with kettlebell or could i train multiple programs at the same time
for exampe strenght training with pavel with deadlift and muscle building with the kettlebell. the problem is that doing that i am training 6 times per week is still a lot less than i am used to do but i think that i should probably train only three times per week, example two times to build muscle and one to build strenght. does anyone have any ideia about this
I think that it is funny how he says he doesn't "lay on a beach rubbing his stomach with cocoa butter" when the cover of "The 4-Hours Workweek" is a dude laying in a hammock which is supported by palm trees.
@riseaboveitalltoday Keep in mind: just because he doesn't lay on a beach all day doesn't mean that's not what others want. In his book he explains that he tested different book titles before choosing the one he did, we can only assume he tailored the cover picture to one that would appeal to the largest number of people in order maximize book sales.
He is great,,,,,but no family......its easy if you only take care of yourself. If he ever gets married and has children....then I would like to see how he can "save" time when the kids also want "time" and the wife wants "time". But since he is very smart...I bet he figures out a way that makes everyone happy. I am waiting to see that part of his life happen.
@kellycat2552 Have you read the Four Hour Work Week? Discussions about having a family is in it, I dont understand why he would mention that when the interviewer ask him about HIS life.
Also, a huge point about the four hour work week is that you want to get more time to do what you enjoy. And being with your family is usually something good and positive, and nothing negative. To me it sounds as if you would like to be WITHOUT your family.
Follow this, work less, spend more time with your kid
When I first found out about Tim, I thought that he was full of shit. The past few months I have been interning at an office, and I can see that what he talks about is valid. I now have a dream to have my own business, be my own boss and not take shit from retards. Thanks Tim!
I've followed his advice, started my own business and made quite a bit of money. I still work on the side too, but if this thing I've started gets big enough I'll quit and live like Ferriss.
@Guitar5525 How did you get money to invest in the business? And is there any advice you'd like to share with an 18 year old interested in starting a business?
@boricuamm707 the ideal Tim Ferriss business shouldn't require much start up capital. The most expensive thing was designing the website, but going from nothing to an operating online business cost me something like $800-$1000. Of course, I've invested much more now but that was my initial costs. The best advice I could give to someone your age would be to start slow. Spend a good amount of time researching and planning your business, and don't invest too much too early on.
Yeah, I've always felt we should work so we can do what we want to do in life, and not work just to stockpile money! Although you have to consider saving for retirement.
Annoying inteviewer! What is the thing with the shoes, he get all psyched.

Thanks for the interview. Love Tim's philosiphies. We're experimenting in applying them to a family with two young kids. We'll see :)
