It's believing that God sent Jesus to be our Savior and die for our sins because we can NOT save our selves. Unless you have someone to pay for your sins, YOU will pay for them when you die. That is why God sent Jesus Christ to be the sacrifice for our sins. If you do not accept that sacrifice, you will die in your sins and be accountable for rejecting what God sent to you.

The Bible does not AT ALL teach universal salvation, it teaches very clearly that salvation is of the elect and that some were created for destruction while others were created so that God could shew his mercy. The Council of Nicea simply made official (in the Empire) the Bible canon which was already in mass use by Christians around the world. Many Churches (such as the Church of Ethiopia) which never had any connection to Rome use the same canon, its usage dating back to the 1st century after Christ. Try actually learning real history before you just parrot back what you hear on youtube.

Muslims dont see that because the god in the Quran is a warrior/ a fighter who demands punishment on those who will not submit. That is why, I think, you cant see God sparing Ishmael. But why wouldnt He? He had no reason to kill him and Hagar. The Covenant was made, however,with Isaac and Jacob. That is why you should trust the Bible.

Also, salvation is of the elect. Universal salvation is feel good pagan nonsense. The Council of Nicea simply made official (in the Empire) the Bible canon which was already in mass use by Christians around the world. Many Churches (such as the Church of Ethiopia) which never had any connection to Rome use the same canon, its usage dating back to the 1st century after Christ. Try actually learning real history before you just parrot back what you hear on youtube.

The only place where universal salvation is taught is in the non-Biblical gnostic works which stand in contradiction of revealed Scripture.
