Nice vid. What are the costs involved in a flight like this? also, If one were to own a learjet 60 (or 45 etc) do the pilots come with the jet or do they work from a seperate company and you just hire them when needed?
@slypsi : You usually hire your own pilots, a captain and a First Officer cost like 8000 Euros per month. That's ok, if you buy a 12 Million Euro Jet like a Lear 60.
This plane costs around 2500 Euros per flight hour, if heavily used. If rarely flown the costs per hour are higher.
I think you're kind of missing the point. I decide to fly at 10am from Munich. I wake up at 0900, have some breakfast, shower, drive to the airport, spend 5 minutes going to the GAT, arrive at the plane at 10:10, it's still there, get in, am in Nice at 11:10, luggage is loaded into the car, and I'm at the hotel by 11:30. If you can figure out how to do that on a commercial flight, by all means, let us know.

That isn't fast.. that's how long it would take normally. Fast would be 20 minutes.

Did I say that it is fast?
But flying 380 nm (IFR Airway distance) in 20 minutes would mean an average speed of 1140 knots - there is no business jet that can do this!
59 minutes is not slow at all. Keep in mind the slowing departure, en route and approach procedures!
