I have to make a small correction regarding the composition of this song. My father, Benjamain L. San Pedro actually was co-composer of this song. He is the pianist you hear in this recording. As I understand it, he met with Mr. Amarillo over drinks and cheap ice cream when they wrote this song in the early 60s. There were no royalty laws in the Philippines at that time and my father never made a dime or got writing credit, except for the five dollars he was paid after the recording.
