That set up is for high wind, which that day was SW at 22. There are about 1100, 10 doz full bodies, 40 doz sillo socks, 10 doz wind socks, and about 400 rags. 4 of us total, we also were hid in a little low spot, they had no Idea we were there.
I'm not sure it matters. I usually hunt 3 1/2 inch #2 shells for ducks, but only had 3" BB for these snows and did just fine. Leads infront of geese where anywhere from the beak, to 6+ ft depending on distance.
a muddy year. this year is muddy as HELL. with all that snow. and the rain we will get on monday. u should go down by Hartford at 220th St. and we will have fun shooting snows like i did today. P.S. love seeing people from Iowa on here...

i only hunt with about a hundered haha i know. ive learned to just pass shoot them or sit out in the field because they are so dam smart.

that is Iowa. Last day we hunted. The only day I could drive in set up, drive out to pick up. What a muddy year!!!!
