The reason restorative justice is set up for failure is because Government WANTS the higher recidivism that the mainstream injustice system creates. More recidivism = higher crime rates = public justification for more police state control apparatus (police, jails, courts, statutes/"laws", etc) in the name of public safety.
Canada's justice system is a joke and is run by left wing frauds. In Canada they reward criminals, murderes, and pedophiles. The victim suffers and the criminal gets off. It's a joke. In Canada, the court system is corrupt and full of people so out of touch with reality.
I would rather have an articulate, well minded JP like this guy presiding over my case rather than 12 angry ass, closet-bigots thinking their doing society a favour in the long run by locking up "one of THEM" w/o basis.
Well of course its failing ! this justice in canada is greedy and racsist and to mention our murderous RCMP in this country ! you know I never respected the RCMP because there the bigest criminals ....I will start respecting the system and these RCMP once a cop goes to jail for there crimes.untill them this system can go fuck it self . this country is fucked up , meaning RACSIST and GREEDY and I'am just (1) native and I'm sure theres another 100,000 more ,thinking like me !. any questions ?

We are all human and the right choice is no to drugs, alcohol, ciggies and yes to serious big time education of the young. Your kids as your lawyers, is the only way to get more of that illusive justice. The laws are good but not applied properly. Your kids could do a better job than any hired lawyer...
