I was so used to play with the chopper in other games that I only managed to play good with the Viper when I changed to southpaw in the Heli and Jet stick controls. So, if you can't get it right even with the video, try to do that.

I find Legacy chopper controls a lot easier to use, probably because it was default in BFBC2 and I used helicopters a lot in it.

Thank you so much for this. I haven't tried the co op mission yet unfortunately. I have had a LITTLE practice with the choppers on Caspian Border which gave me some practice. it's just hard to crack out the expert maneuvers in the middle of an intense multiplayer match.

I play BF3 on PC and I was just wondering if on XBox/PS3 do you have to continue to apply throttle to keep the choppa in the air or can you let go and it will hold it at the same height?

@chocodudeftw ya slightly... if you were able to stabilize the chopper well then you just have to adjust it slightly once every 5secs maybe but i guess if you do it well there should be a point where you shouldnt have to adjust anything
